Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

It is fun… Ha! Doesn’t he even know what he did? Well, I will let him know. Shouldn’t I do this? After all, he made everything easier for me. What happened in that night was nothing, really. I don’t know why Amir attacked Ruvindra, but it also made it all much easier. It seemed to draw everyone’s attention to the past. Does he even know that? He wasn’t there… he must know about what he had done. My goal had already been reached anyway. I made Amir suffer the same thing as I did. Be banished from his pack with wrong reasons.

It is hard to read this big one. Most of the time he seems neutral. His ears pricked up in interest as I asked about his mate. He revealed her name. Kiska. That’s good to know. I am interested in meeting her someday. I would just talk to her a little bit, gather more information. Maybe have a little fun, who knows? He also reveals to me about twins… Oh well! His children perhaps? That’s great to know. He reveals too much. I wonder if some of these information is false. I hold no expression, just asking myself for a second if everything he tells me is true, after all he has reasons for that. Nobody would just forgive another for trying to kill a pack member. Mainly if it is part of a pack in which you are the alpha. He tells me that it had been weird getting used to the life as less than an alpha. I allow a light chuckle to break through my lips. I see the pride within his face as he talks about Kane and Isola. A sigh escapes my muzzle. One of them is his child I bet. I wish my children would make me so proud.

- Well, for me it is quite the opposite. It’s been weird, getting used to have to run things…- I smiled. Ruvindra is above me, but I am still responsible for putting things in order, accepting other members - It is good to hear that everything is working for you too.

Yes… It is not really that great to hear he is doing good. But yeah…

I can see that he stiffened when I brought that night back. So… There is something there. I can’t quite put my paw on it. He stares at me and seems genuinely curious. By the time I am finished, he just tilts his head for a second. I would laugh if I didn’t know he wasn’t there when Amir told the truth to Ruvindra. I found my lips curling into a wide smile as he said there is no need to thank him. Well, he is quite right. I did everything… I followed Amir to the pack, I told Ruvindra he was coming and that she had just to make him spill the truth. But… there was something I didn’t know. Amir didn’t want to kill Ruvindra. He had changed. He did tell her the truth, but he told the truth about the past, he explained to her that all I told her was about the past. Luckily, he attacked her for some reason and I stopped him. That made everyone focus in the past, made everyone think he was there to kill her. What would happen if Devil just asked him why he attacked Ruvindra? What would happen if they just asked Amir what did he say? Devil came… And just called him traitor straight away. That was enough to seal Amir’s fate.

- Of course I need to thank you, - I smiled. Oh this will be fun - If it wasn’t for you, calling him traitor straight away, it would be so much harder. If you asked him what did he say instead of judging him. What would happen if he told you that his plans to kill Ruvindra were just the past? - I paused, letting my words sink - He was telling her about the past. Amir didn’t want to kill Ruvindra anymore and he was just explaining that what I told Ruvindra, was just the past.

How would he feel now? Did he know what he had done? That he might have blamed an innocent wolf… Ha… I waited for his reply, I waited for any kind of reaction. The smile, still wide in my mouth.
