What does one do when the wolf you have sworn your loyalty to is no longer in the dominant position? Do you switch loyalties? I cannot, I am not the flip flop type of girl. If I wished to follow this Sulan, I would have exposed my neck to him. Weylin's stepping down confused me, made me wonder. Perhaps, something had gone wrong and he just distanced himself from the leadership position of Glorall. I have sworn myself to serve under Weylin's rule, but, I do wonder if this Sulan has anything to offer one inthe killing business. Granted I act more like the strong arm in the event an alpha has personal enemies, but my loyalty will not so easily change. If I am to follow this wolf, then he must show me that he is worth following.
I do wish to at least give him a chance, but an assassin's loyalty is bought, not often given. Weylin struck a personal fancy at the hunt for the bison, he showed that he could take a band of loners and make them a pack. I do not know what this, Sulan can do, therefore I will not bow my head to him until I know. I walk through the pack lands, moving silently as I do, until I hear a summoning howl. My ears pin themselves to my skull and I begin a steady jog to the source of the howl. No time like the present I suppose. When I arrive, there are several members of the pack present, and I smile slightly at they introduce themselves. I stay silent, however, merely watching them as they talk and as Sulan is greeted by the pack. I would watch, see if he has an interest in the assassin of the pack. I need a roll, a task, if he cannot provide one, I will simply leave. That is the way of it. | |
