The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

The lads dull orbs watched as the lass, who was clearly uncomfortable with his inspection, flattened her ears against her head. She took a deep breath as if she was trying to get rid of whatever thoughts were pestering her mind and Lycaon couldn’t help but feel empowered by her weakness. If he were half the monster he used to be, he would have had her, he would have left his mark so that no other male would love her, but he wasn’t like that... Not anymore.

As he asked his first question the lass opened her maw to speak before quickly snapping it shut. If this had been any other monster she had met, they would have been at breaking point. She was doing everything right to let the male know she was scared and wouldn’t put up a fight. Her bodice rippled with tension, the scent of her driving the lad’s demons mad, but his face stayed like the stones that made the Cavern’s walls. His next statement seemed to change her a little. Her muscles relaxed slightly and she seemed to become more intent on listening to what he had to say. Whether that was out of pure fright or whether she actually wanted to listen was a secret that he would probably never discover but either way it looked like he had just initiated a conversation.

After he had uncovered himself from the shadows and made himself somewhat comfortable, the she-wolf took yet another deep breath as if she were preparing herself for what was to come next. Although Lycaon lived by his rule ‘I will not cause pain or suffering to females or young wolves’ she was driving him insane. Everything she did made him feel like he did all those years ago. It made him feel like the monster he truly was and it was taking him all his time to fight his urges. It was obvious that the lass had become more relaxed as she smiled at the brute, an expression he wasn’t used to anymore. Nobody smiled at him and he smiled at no-one. Smiling was for when you were happy and Ly was not.

The next motion of the vixen was not unfamiliar to the lad however he hadn’t expected a complete stranger to do it to him. When he was a Beta, his soldiers had bowed to him out of fear for their lives. He was also used to his innocent victims nodding submissively before he ended their lives, but not this. This was a sign of ultimate weakness and the devil wasn’t sure whether to enjoy it or to be shocked. Either way his face didn’t change. His auds flickered to the melody that fluttered from her jaws. Unlike his gruff and harsh voice, hers was soft and sweet no doubt like her personality. His eyes fixed on her bodice as she spoke. They moved slowly up and down before fixing on the girl’s own eyes. She spoke in stutters as if she were trying her best not to provoke him. Lycaon had to giggle slightly at her observation of him. Yes he was a little tense, he had to admit but if she thought that was tension she had clearly never lived. After she had finished her speech, she dipped her head even lower than before, her voice trailing off as she begged him not to hurt her.

The monster took a deep breath in, his ivory fangs protruding from his lips. He pondered his next words, choosing what route to take. Would he frighten her to death and be the grumpy, irritated wolf he usually was? Or, was he going to be the less irate, somewhat happier wolf that he had so quickly took the role of when he came to Blossom. His maw opened slowly the route he would take clear within his mind. “I do not care for formalities. As nice as it is to know your name, I really couldn’t care less. We do not know each other and will probably part ways after this meeting.” He paused, his eyes watching her face to see if it changed. This believe it or not was Ly being nice. “As for you story, are you just looking for trouble or are you nosy?” His words ending in a slight snarl as the old Lycaon started to push through. Taking another breath and shuffling slightly to make himself comfortable he continued with his speech. “This merely boredom, if I was tense you would know about it my dear. There is nothing wrong with me I assure you.” However there was... Lycaon was a cold-blooded killer and the fact the sick twisted git of an ex- alpha was still alive drove the male mad. He could have told her that but didn’t think it would be the best conversation topic. “If you aren’t here to make me angry which clearly you are good at...” His eyes drawn to the scars clear on her bodice. “What are you here for?” With the question his voice became lighter and softer, he wasn’t such a big bad wolf now was he?
