aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

Chenzii softly padded through the new terrain, making sure to keep her footfalls light to not bring unwanted attention to herself. The she walked slowing, letting her large black paws land softly in the new land. This was her first time in Blossom Forrest, and she hoped she would find a new life for herself here. The she wolf was nervous walking in new territory, she did not want to upset any alpha wolf if she was indeed in a pack’s territory, but she knew in the back of her mind it was time for her to find a new pack and some new wolves to be with. It had been almost two years since Chenzii had lost her brother and even longer since they had both lost their pack. Chenzii’s mind began to wander back to that day when she lost everyone but her brother, remembering the fear that ran through her veins seeing the fire sweep through her packs territory. Chenzii shook her head, ruffling her thick black fur, to focus her mind back to where she was.

Chenzii had not been around wolves in quite some time and she hoped her social skills had not been completely lost in her isolation. She didn’t want to rush into anything with a new pack, but she was ready to try. Chenzii just hoped she would be accepted into a pack since she had not been around a pack since she was a young teen.

Chenzii slowly padded along the unknown area, unsure of whether she was in the boundaries of pack territory or not. She was listening intently to the area around her, hoping she would hear the approach of another wolf before seeing one. Her black ears pricked up at every sound she heard in the forest around her, waiting, and secretly hoping, to run into a wolf that could take her to a new pack where she might finally be accepted. The she paused when the scent of many wolves reached her nostrils and she guessed that she was at the boundary of a pack. She sat back on her hunches, wrapping her tail around her front paws, debating whether she should enter the territory or make herself known to the pack first.

Chenzii decided it might be best to alert the pack she was here, so they knew she was no threat to them. She leaned her head back and let out a hesitant howl, letting the wolves know she was a loner, alerting them, and thus the alpha, to her presence at their territory.
