During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

death is another adventure

There, he smelled it again. Genisys? It can’t be. He snarled at his failure of a nose. It had been years since they had last been together and there was no way she’d be here now, of all places. He had strolled amongst every pack’s border lands making his decision for a long time now and yet, her scent just now magically appeared? He shook his head as he paced faster. His thick, shadowed tassel flicking angrily. Slowly, he raised his head to the sky, inhaling deeply. No, it was her and she was here. How can this be? Did she remember him? Did she know he was here? It took everything in his willpower to stay where he was and not cross the border line. It would mean death if he surely did. Still, his sister was somewhere out there.

He shook his head, trying to calm his raging insides and relax. His pacing slowed to a normal pace and he stared angrily at the ground. It had been so long since he had seen his sister and the irony of it all was that the last time they were together was in another pack. Strange how a pack separated them and then brought them together. Not yet, they were not together yet and for all he knew, she had forgotten him and the things he had done for her. He was so absorbed into his own mind that he hadn’t noticed the brute by him at all. No smell had entered his nose except for his sister’s and that’s the only thing that was on his mind. “Is this impatience a common trait of yours, or do you simply distrust my haste?” The low voice shocked him and Exodus’ glare ripped from the ground and went straight to where the voice had come from. His lip had lifted in a sickening snarl and his hackles had risen. He had stopped pacing, the muscles in his body showing as he stood tense for a fight. Seeing the other caused no threat, he then calmed, trying to remember where he was and what he was doing.

Realizing his fatal mistake, his ears flattened on his head and he plopped hastily on his haunches. Because of his instinctive actions, he may never get to see his sister again. His icy glare slid from the image like being before him and he lowered his gaze to his paws like an embarrassed child. His large shoulders rose and then fell as he took a large breath. “I’m..sorry, for that. It must have been a great first impression.” His gruff voice came out nearly above a whisper. Exodus had never apologized for anything in his life but he respected other males, especially ones with power, and he knew he was wrong. Should now be a good time to submit? Exodus simply stood there, thoughts racing through his dark cranium as he watched the brute before him. Weirdly enough, they looked a lot a like and it shocked Exodus to see another like himself.

He was still standing there, staring at the dark being before with a dumb founded look on that usually unreadable face. Shaking out his pelt, and that look, he plopped onto his haunches and narrowed his eyes. He had felt weak in that moment and that just wouldn’t do at all. If this is how pack life was going to make him he honestly didn’t want to be here. But there was this matter with his sister. He growled inwardly at that. He couldn’t just leave her again. Rolling his eyes, he awkwardly lowered his thick bodice down to the earth and rested his head on his paws. Genisys or not, this was as close to submitting as he would get. “I am Exodus and I ask permission to enter the domain of Munashii Gekko.” Hopefully, the brute before him would ignore his earlier outburst and see the urgency in his eyes.
