News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

Return to Lunar Children
= I Dropped My Halo = (Moonglow + Any)

I came when the day grew light, moving away from Aaliyah’s den only when my child at last fell into sleep, her own sons at her side in contentment. When the time was right I would visit again, see the children properly in more than the dark gloom of the den, their forms obscured with Aaliyah’s own. If the fates were kind the boys would at least be born white, forsaking their Fathers vile colouring and indeed iof the Angels above had been watching over my Aaliyah, surely the boys would be born Marked, anything to help them in a world already turned against them and indeed, even on my own position I remain undecided. Our laws say nothing of half-bloods, for it has never occurred before and though I am unwilling to admit it I am ill-equipped to deal with such....questions as my Assassins bring to me. How do I know what they are? Are they Demon or Angel born? Will they inherit a taste for their own species? Have I allowed poison into my bloodline? I snorted, irritated at such thoughts and the morning had barely begun as I made my way towards Spirane, loping at a steady pass, toned, hard form gliding as easily as it ever did across the free lands, holding firmly the prize I had brought for Moonglow. I might be King of all Moladion (self proclaimed), but I still respect those worthy of it and as it happens, the Spirane Alpha is as such. She has kept my children safe and will surely watch over my grandchildren born to Amaterasu and Zildjian, another litter to visit, in turn. Besides, of all the Alphas within Moladion in this moment I find Moonglow- agreeable. Baphomet is not worth the dirt he stands on and the fellow from Glorall has a name so ridiculous I would hardly be inclined to bother with it, let alone the male himself. The son of Tripod of Scotavia he seems to have unfortunately not inherited his Fathers’ ability to simply sit quietly and mind his own business. If he continues to prance about and agitate my daughter over his ridiculous little problems I shall be forced to get my paws wet- and that would displease me. Wailing. The name suited him, he did enough of it.

I increased my pace slightly as the dawn began to break, snowy form bathed in the ethereal halo of morning sun that so complimented my aging form as I approached the border line of the mountain pack, stepping easily and lithely over such a thing seeing no need to pause. Spirane was sworn ally to Diveen and indeed....I think I’m a little beyond border lines don’t you? Besides, I’ve got presents. Wolves with presents don’t wait for border patrols, even so, I hardly doubted I would be stopped, taking a few moments to examine the land as I moved silently through, ghosting along the earth, following the scent of Moonglow. The word upon the wind is that she too has birthed this spring, that Spirane has an heir of New Moladion blood and indeed I saw this apparently joyous occasion as reason enough to meet with the Alphess and discuss all the matters at hand, besides, I know how to keep good relations. I slowed, limbs coming to an easy walk, violet gaze resting upon the large den, the scent of Moonglow and her mate, that Alfred fellow, lingering thickly about. I paused a short distance form the entrance, for indeed I have no need to enrage a mother with a pup new born. I am not entirely that foolish, her child should be some days old now, her early protective instincts well past. Hell, she should be thrilled an Elder and Moladion Greatest King chose to travel all this way to see her child and offer her a gift. I bent down, placing the Snow Hare at my paws, waiting for the Alphess to step from within and offer a greeting or indeed another wolf to simply bask in my glow on their way past, I wouldn’t mind.

“Are you within, Moonglow? It is Heyel. Please, when you are ready, I have come with a gift from Diveen for the birth of your child.”

I paused a few moments, accented voice resting smoothly in the air, waiting for the Alphess to come forward, head dipping mildly in a greeting, smirk touching my lips as I pushed the white hare forward, licking away the blood on my own lips.

“Where I come from, the birth of each girl demands the gift of a snow hare and a white dove is customary for each boy. I am told by those who tell me things that you have welcomed a Princess to your pack these days past. Diveen offers it’s Congratulations and this gift of course. It is good to see young life once more. What have you named her?”

Moladion had far to long been caught within the clutches of death and destruction, even I, so long the hand of fate itself in ending the life of others cannot help but smile, faintly at the idea of young ones once more.

“Isola herself would have come to offer such things, yet, this night past she and Kane have birthed a child. A boy, Achilles and Diveen’s first Prince. Kane tells me you and he are distantly related in some way and yet, blood is blood and the birth of his child is an addition to your extended family also, I thought it important you should know, family is everything after all and this Spring I find myself a Grandfather time and time over. Forgive me, but I must ask, is there news of my Amaterasu and her pups?”

She might be grown, they might all be yet, as Moonglow would understand, surely, a parent does not stop worrying, even one given to have a somewhat heartless reputation such as myself. Besides, with the size of ZeZe I would not at all be surprised if poor Ammy failed to deliver them at all. Indeed I would seek her out for myself, yet such pups would be still quite newborn and I am not quite so willing to set eyes upon wailing banshees just yet. I yawned, fangs flashing bright in the morning sun before settling myself once more.

“Tell me of your own child and Ammy’s if you have such knowledge, yet once that is done there are other things I must speak of with you. I find myself ill at ease of late with certain- issues and as our ally I intend to make you aware of them on behalf of Isola and Kane. Besides, I’m entirely more thrilling to speak to then them, you should consider yourself privileged, Chicka.”

I smirked, easy, teasing. I like this Moonglow.
