During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

Aindreas’ panicked call was the last thing that Serris expected to hear that day. The boy was young and always milling around, if he needed to see his Alpha he would just find him on foot. So this sudden cry made Serris nearly double over in his path. In fact, he had been on his way out of the pack. With the meeting and the hunt soon to happen, he needed to go scope out the hunting grounds. He had also heard word that Cold Summers had just begun a hunt as well, which meant all of the prey would be wary for the next few days. Great. That just mean more waiting, more boredom, and probably more members slipping out of his grasp. The King could not hold onto warriors for the life of his. Expect for the annoying ones of course. Like Kobato. And Aindreas. But he had grown to like Kobato, so surely Aindreas’ incessant pacing and other habits would bring him around eventually. Not that he hated the boy, he just hadn’t dealt with such a gung-ho attitude in quite some time. And so, with a slight grumble, Serris swung his whole front around and headed off towards the lad. Whatever was so urgent, it had better be important.

On the way, though, Serris came up with a thought. Why was he going to exit his pack to do such a menial task? Aindreas needed to get out and stretch his legs a little anyway; his patrolling of the borders still warranted a talk with the Alpha. And if the boy wanted to please his Alpha so bad, this would surely do it. The King ceased the grumbles from his chest and set out with a new stride, reaching Aindreas’ location. He was strangely near the opposite border. And hadn’t he scented Kobato in his company as well? He subconsciously wondered where she was now. Her scent led away, towards the river. Taking a bath and wouldn’t let Aindreas watch? He’d inquire later. But for now he approached the boy, his features soft, tail comfortable. No need to put on a front with a member, afterall. “It’s good that you’ve called me, I’ve been meaning to talk with you Aindreas. But before I jump the gun, what is it that couldn’t wait?” His question was simple, plain, no secret intentions and motives hidden in their fabric. He was all ears.
