During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

ooc: sorry for the noo layout thingy. So ugly.

She had noticed the chills that had run through that beautiful pelt of his. She had noticed how he shook it out as well. This act hurt her slightly. It meant that he didn't want to feel it. At her words, he turned away from her and she rested her audits against her crème cranium gently. Her delicate gaze silently begging those eyes to turn back to her. Had she hurt him with her questions? Dove too deep with her curious thoughts? No, he was speaking again. Before she could be happy with this though, his first sentences rang out and stung in her ears. “No, I have not always lived here. My tale is a long one, so I shall just speak of its highlights. Just the highlights? Was his past as dark as her own? As his low lyrics kept crawling into her auds, she leaned forward slightly, the urge to rub her muzzle across his gently rushing to the surface. She pulled back though, knowing that he wouldn't accept that kind gesture. His words came to a close and she glanced at the ground, ashamed for making him spill the beans. Still, there was moment of excitement when he had spoken her name. It fit well on his tongue and for some reason, when he spoke the word it made it all the better. There was a brief moment when she felt special because he did not speak of it lightly. He had obviously given her something no one has had received. She nodded silently, secretly promising to keep his story and reveal it to no one. It would be hidden in her heart, safe from those who wished to destroy it and demolish it.

She felt disembodied. It was as if she was looking down on the scene from a different wolf's perspective. She could see the desperate femme seeming to beg for the other's love. She could see how he had no idea what was going on. She could see how this thing was never going to work out between the two of them. There was too much of the unknown to try it, too much possible heartbreak for it to truly be good for either of them. Standing above the two of them in that ghost like form, she watched the girl's heart ache and break ever so often. Each moment that passed, another piece would come off. Every time Aindreas refused, she was tearing inside. Soon, the girl would be nothing, roaming the lands like the ghost she now felt like. It was a terrible feeling really. Then, she was back in her own body, watching Aindreas with that strange look in her eyes and feeling that ache inside her own heart. It was almost better being that ghost in the air.

Genisys curled that thick tassel around her long pillars and ran her gaze over the area. "I'm glad you're back here then. She replied softly, her alto lyrics quiet, almost like a whisper. How many hints did she need to give him before he got a clue? She sighed, seeming to be beaten down. There were no visible wounds on the outside, they were all over her heart. She had never felt this way and the first time she had, it felt like crap honestly. This hurt, all of it hurt so much. "Aindreas..." A quiet whisper again, his name floating on the gentle breeze and mingled with the after scent of rain. She was breathing slowly, her gaze still on the ground, her body relaxed. She felt numb really, unsure of how to react to it all. Still, she wouldn't give up just yet. "Have you liked living here then?" Subject change again. Her words were normal again, that alto voice filled with fake curiosity. She didn't care honestly. She just didn't want him to leave just yet. So she played along for a just a little while longer. For how long would she play this game? Not very much longer.
