Darketh laughed. A strange feeling stirred deep inside his chest. The femme was brown like mud, with black patches here and there that made Darketh think of butterflies. (Darketh, your mind— nevermind) Her eyes were like perfect spheres, and dark brown like glowing orbs of prehistoric tree bark. And when she spoke –her voice! It sounded like all the birds in the world came toga thee and sung the words in perfect melodic harmony. "Hello," she had said. Darketh bit his lip with his yellow misshapen teeth. His teeth, the only flaw in his handsomeness, which he got after eating an odd sort of human junk-thingy. He opened his maw.
