News - SUMMER

Summer has arrived. The world has been well at peace, and others seem to be trying to take advantage. They believe we are lazy and complacent. We are no such thing. Remain vigilante, friends and family.

Give your congratulations to Maiko. She has been promoted to Blizzard; she earned it.

We also have an activity check going. Please reply so I can make adjustments accordingly. Check will go for an entire month so we can hopefully capture everyone.

As always, if you have need of me, do not hesitate to find me.

Azrael could indeed be affectionate when he wanted, and Andromeda enjoyed the fact that he returned her little kiss on his cheek. She listened to his words, ears erect just for him, not for the pups that dozed behind them in the darkness of the den. She knew they would be up soon, they usually stirred if she did. But Andromeda didn't throw back her gaze or ears towards the boys, she kept her yellows stuck on on the pleasant blue's of Azrael. In all honesty she had never seen eyes quite like his before. Andromeda's pack was full of yellows and oranges, blues not something seen. Her homeland was also all black pelts with a lucky few with white speckled all around. The world of her youth was so different than the world she lived in now, such diversity sprouted in Moladion and her old home felt so isolated and closed off. Azrael...he didn't even know of her past quite yet. She hardly had time to speak of it with him and even if she did, she wasn't sure if he would really care. Azrael is in his homeland, though altered by the sky on that dark, yet oh so bright, day. He is confident in his heritage and the culture of his father and mother. Andromeda someone doubted he would see the importance of her own, since she did indeed leave her homeland...but with good reason...a reason Azrael likely didn't understand too well. Well, maybe someday she will get the chance to speak with him, though in all likelihood Guardian, Starfall, and even Meryl would know before him.

He speaks and it seems he decided to take a day off to spend with his family. Honestly, Andromeda didn't understand why he had to be gone so often, yet, part of her knew...and it was the part of her old life that she attempted to escape. At least now, she wasn't the one going off everyday to meetings, training, and other such things...when she wasn't a prisoner. She was glad to spend time alone, at least now alone with her sons. They were more important now, and they get a life of play and happiness.

"You should do this more often, I know the boys would appreciate it...and, just maybe, I would too," she said as she nipped at his muzzle lightly with her own muzzle darker than that of empty spce. Azrael brings up more, his soft voice soothing her ears from that of puppy whines. She did love puppies, but it was nice to hear a strong male voice every now and then. Andromeda did look forward to the day that he sons would grow and become strong warriors. Well, if they wanted to be. Andromeda was trained, partially though she had forgotten a bit by now, to be a warrior and a negotiator. She hoped they wouldn't want to take up being assassins like their father. Meryl, she had no worry about. He wasn't cut out for that sort of thing, and that isn't bad. She was quite glad that he was a sweet and caring boy. It was Guardian who took such a vast interest in Azrael, and Andromeda didn't want one of her sons in that kind of danger. Andromeda kept her attention on her imprint, resisting the urge to look back at her sleeping boys. He didn't want them close to the boarders, and Andromeda didn't either...not after her being taken to Iromar. It was Starfall that worried Andromeda the most with wandering...for he was starting to do so in the realm of dreams. Andromeda frowned slightly, lowering her muzzle a bit before speaking.

"I shall try my best, I have only one living friend since the sky fell, and I doubt she will come around for a while. My concern though is...Starfall seems to show signs of being a Dreamwalker...It is a very rare thing, he will be special for it but it also will bring him to danger. In fact, I have almost no doubt by now, he even has the eyes...but, it means he may wander in his sleep, and he is much too young..." she said with concern laced in her supple voice. Her muzzle rose slightly again, her yellows attempting to read his face to see if he has any idea what she was talking about. Their cultures were so different. Her own mother was a Dreamwalker, she was revered and respected by all, chosen to be the alpha's mate, her father. And yet, it was her ultimate demise, dreamwalking to her own death right into enemy hands during war...before Andromeda even turned one.

Andromeda sighed slightly before twisting her skull around to peek at the boys. Azrael was rather clueless, wasn't he? Had he never been around pups before? Does he remember being one? Andromeda smirked, a devious look playing on her dark features as she half-turned back to Azrael. She lifted a single brow in question...she knew soon he would find out for himself.

"Do you not remember being a pup? There is a lot more than eating and sleeping, my dear. Three puppies can be quite troublesome when they are awake," Andromeda grinned, twisting her head fulling around to look at him face on again.

"Since you took a day off, I have a feeling you will find out," she said softly but with a bit of play. Her tail gave a slight wag behind her. She was looking forward to Azrael playing with the pups...or yelling at them. Honestly she didn't know what to expect and that was half the fun.
