The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

Zilo paced anxiously around the entrance of one of the many caverns that make up the Cavern of Secrets. She was waiting for her beloved mate, Shadow. Oh, Shadow. When will you come to me, so that I may press against your muscular side amd feel the soft touch of your obsidian coat again? Zilo thought. Her love for him made her feel woozy. Loving was new to Zilo. Not the family type of love of course. but the strange type that is new to all wolf teens. Her heart had just started living. Hearts are only born when you reach a certain age, not when you are born. Zilo shivered, shaking her ivory coat. "It's so warm this time of year. Why is it cold here? Grrr –curse you wind!" She growled out loud.

An exceptionally bitter gust of wind whipped at her fur, spreading it all of for one fith of a second. Windswept and chilly, Zi decided to suck it up and wander into the ominous cave herself. I'll go a little ways in, then wait for Shadow. Zi thought. Big mistake.

Zilo had only gone a mere ten meters when a thunderous -CRASH!- reached her auds, threatening to blow a hole in her eardrums. Zi lifted a trembling pearl-colored paw to her aching thorns. "Owowowowow!" She whimpered. Panic shot through her suddenly. The cave was much darker than before…

Shaking muzzle to tail tip now, Zilo slowly turned her quavering white body around. A large wall of boulders had fallen, causing the loud noise. The dusty gray rocks were covering the entrance now, leaving only a tiny gap in the far left corner. It was so small, any wolf could only stuck there snout through it. Oh my! How is Shadow supposed to find me now? How will I find him? How will I escape this? Thoughts raced through Zi's mind like wildfire. There was only one thing to do. Zilo scrambled to the wall and place her front paws on it, pointing her muzzle towards the puny hole.

Zilo closed her eyes, lifted her head towards the ceiling, and howled. The sound ought to travel at least 10 miles, if the weather was kind to her. Probally less, because of the wind, which let of its own extremely high pitched howls. Zilo howled like her own life depended on it, because it probally did. Zilo howled like there was no tomarrow.

Shadow, please hear me.
