Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

After a period of distress, depression and despair a small ray of hope had fluttered into her life in the form of Tally. Her daughter had been missing for many months now and had apparently been on the trail of her father and missing siblings. The thought that the disappearance was causing pain to her last two remaining children was more than the ess could manage; however they assured her that they were fine and so Cai carried on as the one lingering pillar that the teens could rely on.

Being a lone parent was something that the vixen had never pictured in her future and so it had hit her harder than she could have ever imagined. In all her life she had seen happy couples growing old together in loving packs with bundles of children running round their paws. Yet she had raised the remaining pups on her own, the four others following their father and growing up away from her loving embraces. She wondered at times what they would look like now. Would she even know who they were if they walked right past her? The thought made her shudder. What sort of parent would she be if she couldn’t even remember her own flesh and blood?

Shaking the horrid thoughts from her head and concentrating on the future and happy times she hoped would befall her just around the river bend, the lass wondered towards Blossom Field. It was the live version of her own emotions and would no doubt be peaceful enough for her to finally compose herself. Yes, she may have looked happy from the outside, the mask she wore convincing everyone that she was okay... But she was far from it. The return of her second remaining daughter did a lot to make her feel better but there was still a long way to go.

Reaching the field in no time what so ever, the vixen took the time to gaze over the two halves of the terra. It was a mystery how life and death could live so close together in harmony, without causing emotional damage to those around it. In fact she was so wrapped up in the whole secret of it that she hardly noticed the ebony fatale also enjoying the flowers on Blossom. Stopping quietly as the girl came into view Cai allowed a friendly smile to appear on her kissers. ”Oh I do apologise. I didn’t see you there. Here to enjoy the flowers as well?” Her tone was calm and quiet hoping to welcome the lass into speaking with her. Sitting a few meters away from the stranger Cai wrapped her banner around her paws as usual waiting for a response.
