"Blargh," Darketh grunted jibberish as he stood up. He glanced at Tryst, who apparently showed no signs of exhaustion at all. For a brief moment Darketh was jealous of the vix's stronger muscles. But he noticed Tryst growling, and all jealousy vanished. Darketh had been with Tryst long enough to know that if she was growling, it was because something was very, very wrong.

Darketh stood up on his aching pistons and stood next to Tryst. The two had sort of bonded in a way that they weren't friends, but not strangers. Not friends at all. Darketh flicked his light green hues to the left corner of the clearing. It was still underground, but very deep. A thin but deadly crevice cut trough the middle of the stony room. Veins of I-dont-know-what made the walls glitter and the room shimmer like the reflection of water or a trapped ray of sunlight. Darketh straightened abruptly.

"Cool." He yipped. It echoed many times. "Cool!" Darketh barked even louder. The echo of his voice thundered in his auds. "Oh, hey, what is this?" Darketh asked to nobody in particular and trotted dangerously close to the crevice's edge. Darekth's eyes widened in awe and sheer terror.

"Tryst! Tryst! Oh my howls, there's a decomposing pup skull in here! But it isn't bloody at all!" He said in a twisted sort of excitement. Damn, when are we gonna find that stupid bleeding thing?! He crouched down and reached one ashen paw into the deep crack. Something glinted on top of the skinless skull. It looked like� diamond?!
