Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Selective ignorance is what she liked to call it - the conscious choice to ignore any inkling of a foreign scent or the sounds of paws in the grass. Even if she wasn't alone, she liked to at least pretend that she had gotten the chance to her own thoughts without another interrupting them. Why couldn't she have time alone? Why couldn't she have secrets like the others? Was it because she had been born an Angel marked with crimson on all four paws or wherever was apparently important? The ear Heyel had lost, she had gained - that pesky white thing that had ruined her attempts at hiding all too many times - and yet apparently that counted for squat when it came down to it. Hell, even Micteca and Khaleesi probably knew more because one was apparently related and the other had stupid, stupid lavender eyes. Fine, whatever, she gave up - let the bafoon who followed her come to annoy her and ruin the only chance she had at time alone.

As if the beast had heard her thoughts, she soon found the looming shadow of another above her and with a fluid movement, she snaked upwards and snapped her teeth together with a metallic snap. A threat? Hardly, but they'd woken her up and deserved it - they... he... Letum? She rolled onto her belly, immediately sitting up with a less than impressed snort and narrowed eyes. Hardly an Assassin? Why, she should have pulled his ears clean off his head for uttering such nonsense! Instead, she leaned in close, her ears back and released one single, booming Hah!.

"And yet here I am the alleged leader of the Diveen Assassins, whoop-dee-do," she bit back, snorting again and turning half away from him, her white ear twisting back as he spoke again.

"You have been following me? Why? Mad I stole your Apprentice, Lucid? Or mad because you ran away to be part of the Pirate King's... group... or whatever it's called. Did you have fun?"

She hissed the last word before turning to face him once more, a brow raising up over her features. Alright, so she'd never quite gotten over the fact that he'd kind of ditched their makeshift pack when they had all returned to Moladion - hell, why would she have gotten over it? Yes, he was ignorant and obnoxious but he was her ignorant and obnoxious thing, much the same as Azrael would always be some kind of competition even when there was no competition to be had. There was a part of her that felt it needed to unload on him though - it was a bad habit. When her mind was full, she took to unloading it on the nearest wolf she knew - poor bastard. She shuffled uncomfortably, her weight shifting over her paws as she turned away with a light sigh - with that, she immediately turned back (how dramatic!) with a pointed stare.

"If you must know why I have to sneak away it is because I am starting to think I have been raised to believe a lie my whole life. Happy now?"
