Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

I rather like testing my apprentices morals, so indeed, I believe I should try a real world example and it would seem as I walked that one very neatly presented itself. Vague. That male had a rather nice target on his head, ever since he had so stupidly decided to attack Assassins and unfortunately, anyone related to myself after he became utterly confused by his own inability to accept the deaths of his children. Now, truly, even I still feel…something at the loss of so many small ones, his, plus all those who lived within Trenus under my rule and yet I am not so weak of mind to allow myself to collapse over it as he did, nor am I so blinded as to believe agitating me further was an intelligently given idea. Isola may have pardoned Vague, yet the only wolf within Moladion capable of removing that target from himself- is me and really, I am still a little annoyed with him. After all, I trusted him, I watched over him those years ago and how did he repay me then? By lying. How did he repay me in New Moldion? Attacking my daughter and Malina. So maybe I have a bit of a vendetta against the creature, so what? I feel entirely founded in my desires and really, I’m hardly going to murder the bastard in front of his daughter, for his scent mingles with another, yet that does not mean I’m going to have a little fun and teach my own apprentice how to enjoy a little verbal brawl. I paused within the trees, violet eyes seeking the form of the dark wolf and the child who played near him, attempting to pluck the owl her Father had brought her. Shame really, that she had to be born of such uselessness, sire by Vague and birthed from Ruvindra, a wolfess I needed to ‘visit’. I remained within the trees, still some distance away as Khaleesi came to my side, gesturing towards the pair before I spoke softly.

“Do you see them, Paulo Draco, the male and the girl-pup? Vague once served me as a loyal warrior yet just some months previously attacked my own child and Malina along with other wolves of DIveen. He is mated to Ruvindra, fallen Queen of Iromar, that pup is begotten of both their blood and indeed this little family still holds Iromar loyalty, a pack I don’t particularly like. I believe it’s time you made some decisions for me, Baby Girl, be careful though, this fool does like to attack.”

One eye lifted, curios as to her reaction before I merely strode forward, parting the trees and undergrowth to whisper soundlessly across the earth, white pelt aglow in the sun as we came, myself and my mini-me, for truly we did look rather similar save her dirty face, my own heckles lifting, not in threat, not yet, but in warning to the male and his child that I was in charge here and that if he wished to see another day he was going to co-operate and be a part of today’s lesson. Was I going to actually harm him or his child- probably not, yet he didn’t know that and really, causing mental breakdowns in others through fear is another one of my talents. Besides, it is time Khaleesi learned to play a different kind of game, learned to intimidate, leanr to give and release, push and pull and learn to keep herself out of harm’s way, after all, he was with his child, he may well attack and I have no intention of defending my apprentice unless she is foolish enough to get herself pinned beneath him. She is two, she is old enough for this. A smirk touched my lips as I came forward, pausing a short distance from Vague and his daughter, head tilting, appraising them both a moment before I sat.

“Well, well, well, it has been rather a long time Vague. Surely though you didn’t think I’d forgotten you, or your family?”

My eyes dipped towards the girl, the puppy, watching her a moment as I waited for Khaleesi to take her place beside me. She, as one of us, is above the rest of the rabble of this world and it is about time she knew it and respected her ability to save lives- or end them. Now indeed, this is just a lesson for today, a practical example if you will with an unknowing assistant and yet- that makes it all the more fun.

“Such a lovely daughter you have there, shame her blood is so fouled with Ruvindra’s own and her pelt reeks of Iromar as does yours. In fact, Iromar has been annoying me of late- you wouldn’t know anything about that would you? Perhaps if you were willing to share a little information on your pack I would be willing to allow you to continue this daddy-daughter date hmm?”

This Khaleesi, is how we get information. I turned to my apprentice, meeting her gaze a moment before speaking casually once more, words smooth and indifferent as I did.

“Now Khaleesi, the wolf you see before you is Marked by the Assassins to die for his crimes, his mate is also Marked and will meet her end if I have anything to do with it- but the girl is not. She is under one as you can see, yet she is born to Iromar, born of two useless wolves. What is your decision, should she be Marked for death when she is of age as well? Or does her innocence in all this spare her?”

I can be entirely this cruel when I choose to, to speak in front of Vague in this way and yet, I am merely applying pressure to Khaleesi, seeing how quick her mind is when faced with what is before her, seeing if she would dare decree a child should die, testing her once more and toying with Vague- because I can. So play nice Vague. I smirked, how I missed my games.
