Terribly nice? Well, that was a relief. Unless by terribly nice he meant 'overly intrusive and cheery'. Which, with him and his double meanings, was always a highly likely possibility. The next words were interesting enough: Abentrot assassin? She couldn't decide whether that was a compliment or insult. After all, he had technically just called her a potentially blood-thirsty psycho, but then again that probably wasn't a bad thing in their twisted worlds. She had already guessed the similarity between herself and this giant brute: They did what they had to. It was almost comforting in a way, to know she wasn't completely insane, that there were others like her. Almost. "Puh-lease. Like I would've let any heavy-pawed brute even touch me." Next, she tuned into why he had joined. Her astonishment grew and grew; no wonder he was loyal to Cold Summers then! And then of course, being the annoying pain in the ass, actually told the truth for once. She huffed and glared at him. "You're an ass." She told him plainly, pretty sure he already knew it anyway. Still, couldn't hurt for a rather sharp reminder. She huffed once more, completely at loss as to why she devoted any attention to him at all. "So then...Do you have a name, since you know mine? Or should I just refer to you as the O'Mighty Warrior Who I'm Not Worthy To Look Upon?" The words were teasing once more; okay, so she had warmed to his stupid ass slightly. He was actually quite likeable once he got over himself. |
