Why had she been so interested? Well, that was a good question. Rogue was one thing but Covet was an entirely different creature - he was articulate, however, and provided much more than many others ever had on the topic of demons and whatnot. With Jaidah and Baphomet gone from the world, it seemed they were fast going to become a dying breed but for those that lived on, perhaps it didn't have to be as such. She had hope for them all, and that included Covet, whether they liked it or not.
She had been searching the wind for his scent, attempting to catch a location on him before he had the chance to find her - not that she expected him to look, simply that she knew wolves and she knew many were lured in by scents they knew. Besides, their last encounter had been interesting to say the least so why would he not come? Eh, maybe because Fathom was not with her but the strange connection between those two was not on her agenda today - she had better questions to ask, better things to ponder. It was amusing to think that maybe such questions had never been asked by a creature of her training - she doubted Heyel or even Ava would ever have had the intrigue to ask them, not before killing their target at least. She liked to think she was the first, it was a good thought that made her smile to herself as she continued onward, her mind fast forgetting how alert she had been just moments prior...
Until, of course, there was a voice from behind which sent her ears back and her body twisting rapidly, turning on the dime to face her would-be attacker - oh, just Covet. He of which she had sought; she sighed quietly, taking a moment of silence to compose herself before her gaze rose to meet his. He was an oddball, that she could tell, for he did not truly resemble any of the known Demon families of Moladion in any sense - even his eyes, black as the shadows, were not reminiscent of anybody she knew besides from the golden boy, Pan. Those two? Related? Definitely not, not a chance in hell.
"Unless you are wishing to come back to Diveen to stay, I don't think me rubbing up on you would really do you any benefit other than make you reek."
She shrugged, a brow rising up in jest as she broke into a half smirk. Funnily enough, he reminded her of a (very) watered down Andras though she had decided a long time ago there was no hope for the black and crimson male. This one, though? Well, maybe. At least he had brains, no?
"We didn't quite meet under perfect circumstances, so I'm going to start from the top: hello, do you have a name? I'll skip the other mundane talk such as the weather, though."
