She was happy to hear that Dib understood about the whole...family topic, and even more so to hear that it wouldn't be mentioned again. So her softer approach had worked. She didn't mind she had just practically traded her soul, as long as she didn't get asked anymore questions about that topic. Not just yet anyway.
Aerten still felt the apology was needed, but whatever. Let the other ess take what she wanted from the words.
Aerten had lifted her orbs to watch as the female's words met her auds once more. She was almost shocked at the reminder f the useless limb: It hadn't actually really occurred to her at all throughout the conversation. It wasn't like it at all affected her personality nor attitude: Which Aerten had to admit she was starting to like. Still, more soft words, curious this time, rolled of her tongue,
"Does it hurt?"
The femme was mystified. Having never suffered such an injury herself nor having seen anyone actually live to Dib's age with such an injury, the femme was completely in the dark about what it was like and how it affected her.
The other russet ess could be annoying, yes, but not a wolf Aerten particularly wanted to see in pain.
(OOC: I'm sorry it's so short and bad. I've had a really bad day, and it's looking downhill for me at the moment >.< Hopefully next one will be better.)
