Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I DON'T OWE YOU ANYTHING

Cobryn had no idea that nothing had to come to light. He had no idea what had already been done so soon, that... maybe there had come a blessing in disguise to his life. Not the totally good kind, but the kind to keep him on track and unable to slip backwards again. For that part he could be thankful when he finds out. Maybe. It's hard to say what emotions will run through his mind when he understands what Weylin has already done. It stands to reason that he would then find the death via an orca's jaws justified in his own mind. That was for sure. For whatever way that the crime committed -- against a criminal, yes -- kept Cobryn from fucking up the way he had and was prone to, he would still find an ache through him from it. There was no getting away from that. The web woven was too conflicted for anything less.

He's troubled but he will not let it do more then lay within his gaze. He needed to push the thoughts away and keep calm, and it wasn't hard to clear him mind of those things when Enigma had gotten hurt. When that happened, nothing else could run through his thoughts. Just the need to hurt what had hurt her, and then make sure she was okay. Let her know he was there for her, would do what he could to keep her healthy and on the mend. He knows that he had slipped up, but he had returned here, to Glorall. He had not wandered away to not return. This was where he wanted to be. Not in Glorall so much, but at Enigma's side. Cobryn was still... problematic. Still had the faint remains of what he'd once been. Part of him doesn't want to fight it, because he thinks that perhaps it was something Enigma might want back. More of who he'd been, even if there was bad that could come with it.

His focus is here now, on Enigma. He nuzzles gently at her fur when she replies, and then the sounds had caught his attention. Where it all went down. Cobryn knows there is no way to help Weylin, and he can only hope the others will stay away from the water at this point. There was every possiblity of a pod of them lingering for a meal, and not just the one. There's a large sigh, and his gaze finds Enigma's again. He's just as unsure how to deal with this. Mostly, he's urged to lay low and see what happens with Glorall. Right now, he needs to give his attention to Enigma. She needs him most, and she deserves it most. He curls closer to her; cuddling and wanting to make sure she's comforted, that she knows she's loved. "Love you." It's hushed, but true.
