Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

War Wolf

There must be a reason for all that happens between both our packs. I must find out what it is before I start to take any sides or anything. But once it’s all sorted out, I should join in this little war. It’s been so long since I fought the last battle. I surely miss the sensation, the adrenaline rushing through my veins, the blood taste, the victorious feeling as my opponent runs away or cannot get up anymore, the pain with each tear and scratch. The sounds… howls of pain, whimpers! Snarls… That’s what I ‘ve been born and raised to do. To fight, that is my life. That’s why I’m so proud of my wounds and each story they carry.

Devil, has good points about packs and seems to understand quite a lot about them. Hm… I listen closely as he tells me that indeed we should not forget good wolves over the bad ones. His eyes gleam as he finish. Surely, he is not a bad wolf.

- You already be Alpha, too?

He must have already been alpha before. He knows about packs and speaks and acts as a leader would, his presence is strong. All Signs of a dominant wolf. I have no reason to hide that I have been an alpha before, in fact I am proud of it. Perhaps it’s not a good idea, for two dominant wolves sometimes didn’t like one another, but I think this would hardly be the case. And what harm a little fight would do? Our packs already were tagged enemies from my point of view.

I asked about Vague, certain that this wolf is not the one he is talking about. Surely, that worried father and good hearted wolf is not the one who attacked them without cause. But Devil confirmed, telling me he indeed has an affinity for his children. He reveals to me that Vague’s child chose Diveen over his own father. My eyes widen a little. How could a child be so ingrate? In Vague’s place, I would have already killed that child. A pup should always be thankful for his father… That male really love his child, this Ska. He is always with her and always smiling and licking her… He warned me not be mistaken by that wolf’s soft side. I nodded, showing him that I understood and taking his advice openly. I asked then about Micteca, the tiny wolfess, just to confirm we were talking about the same wolf. He did confirm. Yes, I am sure now of who she is.

I grew thoughtful just for a second and then, told him that I am not going to take any sides. He kindly told me that he would respect that. This wolf already earned my respect. I nodded, silently thanking him for understanding.

- Want hit someone? Or something? - I asked gently, gesturing down towards my small catapult that I built a few minutes ago to hit that random loner.

We’ve got plenty of rocks. We could hit many things with this. Perhaps we could try to hit a bird. That’s my own challenge for myself. I never managed to hit one.
