Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

She seemed to change slightly when Sen gave leeway to just how much he was enjoying her. She seemed.. bubbly, shy- excited, even. Which of course only brought a pleased smile to tug across his pale lips, his equally pale skull dipping slightly lower in order to watch her from a different vantage point. She seemed abashed, looking away from him as if to compose herself, and he almost found himself whining to get her attention back on him. But when her voice once more broke the silence, the pale boy felt the most peculiar ache in his chest. The image of Hush, alone, lonely, without anyone to spend time with or care for her was.. excruciating to him. He could only begin to wonder at what she felt herself. Though she had moved her own off of him, he kept his violet gaze steady on her. He wanted to reach out to her once again, but he did not want her to stiffen up or go ridgid again. And so he respected her personal space, choking down the whine that threatened to spill over.

But she had leaned ever so slightly back into his touch- and once again looked away. Sen wondered idly at the affect he was having on her, if it was the same she had on him. Tilting his skull ever so slightly to the opposite side it had been before, he continued to remain quiet all throughout the rather intense interactions, content to take her in, to observe her, to learn all he could about her in this short amount of time. And then, before he know it, the shy, lonely girl was gone- replaced by the Hush he had first encountered, all smiles, all happy and cheers. She was infectious, and she was damn well infecting him. "I would be honoured by such a guide." His shoulder felt aflame where she had brushed against him, and immediately he pushed himself from the soil to trot after her.

Yet after a moments consideration, he paused and brought his muzzle down low- sweeping the remains of their meal beneath the brush beside them, for safe keeping, before bringing his skull back up and his gaze in the direction she had gone off to. He found himself smiling to thin air, shaking his head to himself, and taking off after her. It did not take him long to catch up, for she had not gone very far. She watched for his arrival with bright, lavender irises full of axticipation and glee. It had Sen more than a little curious as to what they were exploring exactly, and made him quick to be at her side. And then they were both moving forward, together, through the brush just in front of them- which opened to a pleasant clearing with a creek running through it. He found himself memorizing every inch of the area, every blade of grass, every leaf on every branch- the sound and scent of the little creek running through it all. And then she spoke three little words, three little words that held so much meaning to them. This is home.

Her delicate, lovely voice brought all of his violet attention on her, watching her, pausing in his multitude of thoughts. Sen had the feeling that hardly anyone had been shown such a thing by her, and a sort of pride swelled within his chest. There was no gratitude he could say that would express just exacly how he felt in that moment. And so he did what he did best. Angling himself closer, he allowed first their thighs to touch, and then, ever so gradually, his waist, torso, and eventually shoulder were gently pressured against her. It was not a full blown lean, but it was enough to let her know that he was there, if ever she needed him. He wanted to be here. And then, as to not scare her too much, he pulled his pale frame away from her russet one, but kept his deep periwinkle eyes on her. When he spoke, he spoke of the clearing, but also of what he was now gazing intently upon. "It's beautiful, Hush."

you have ever known is dead and gone
