Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

The little lass had quite the simple mind. It was not as if she had a developed one quite yet, after all. Having just opened her eyes and been able to step outside the cool that the den her mother had birthed her in offered, Sophie was as curious as a wolf can ever get. She knew nothing about the world, and she knew nothing about herself. For all she knew, she could be a blade of grass that was taller than all the rest of the blades. So, navy eyed little Sophie, with her father’s dark triangles under her baby portals, had stumbled away from her mother’s watch with ease. Her stiff stilts marched forwards and she tumbled over herself multiple times, tasting dirt and almost anything that had mass—as she put her mouth on everything. She was teething, and that may have been a contributor to why she had to taste EVERY little thing. Not that it mattered to her… she was full of wonder and the colors of the world surprised her, tempted her, beckoned to her to come and follow their greatness. So she did. Momma had been sleeping, though whether or not her siblings had seen her go was unknown to her—if they had, there was no doubt that they too would follow in their younger sisters plods.

In any case, the mid afternoon sun beat down on the child, sending her scampering into the shade of the trees that lined the border. Upon their trunks were claw marks, higher up than she could ever dream of reaching—at least for now. Sophie, with her strange, grayscale pelt, would grow to be a fine specimen of a maned wolf, nearly as tall as her sire… just with the lack of color that her brother and sister so elegantly flaunted. Sophie didn’t mind. There was no such thing as jealousy or envy in her childish heart. There was only adventure—and that’s exactly why she kept moving.

Crossing the border was a piece of cake. She didn’t even know that her father had a border. She believed that he owned the whole world, as every daughter should believe until they are old enough to understand that reality doesn’t work that way. Young and blissfully naïve, Soph continued onward, not even glancing back as she tiptoed through thickets with thorns and parasites. She bounced through tall grass and escaped into a badger’s den at one point, growling low as her father did whenever footfalls came beside the den when mother was sleeping. Suddenly the young heiress split from the hole and rocketed on her tall, clumsy looking stilts towards a new smell, something that made her head swim. Innocent as she was, she did not realize that she had crossed into a different territory that was not her own fathers.

She clumsily caught onto a rabbit nibbling at the edge of a trunk, its auds on high alert, staring at her with an expression of discomfort. Bun bun! Father often brought bun buns for momma to eat… maybe she could get one too! The awkward little lass went catapulting after it, her steps mismatched and her breathing heavy. She gave up far too soon, having only gone a certain amount of feet… and then she looked over her shoulder, baby blue’s gleaming with delight. And so, without even going through the process that most older pups and adolescents go through, she continued forward, her soft baby fur catching on twigs and thorns. She was oblivious to just how much trouble she could actually get into.
