Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

Kahlan found herself wandering through Blossom Forest, without any real notion of where she was going. She was so overwhelmed with all of the new information that she had come upon, that she had just allowed her paws to lead her wherever they deemed was right. She had travelled out of her packland and up the Misty Mountain just far enough to scale the conjoining path that led to Rainbow Cliff. She had not enjoyed the beauteous view since the first time she and her brother had lived in Blossom Forest. But still she did not realize where she was until she went to take her next step and almost walked straight off her cliff. Her sharp claws dug into the stone footing as she tried to scramble backwards away from the ledge. Once she was a safe distance from the steep cliff, the femme realized that she was panting, her pink tongue lolled out of her mouth and her plume pinned between her hind paws. The fae slowed her breathing, until the quivers that had been rippling through her bodice subsided.

Her sunny orbs glanced around, wondering how she had travelled so far from home without a thought in her mind as to her destination. And she had almost walked straight off of a cliff’s edge… Kahlan shook her head, trying to bring her consciousness back into control. But as said before, there was a lot on her mind that required attention. She had been so worried about her brother due to his prolonged absence from her side, and yet just found out that not only was he in good health, but he had found a mate and had made love to her. His mate, Channing, was expecting. Kahlan was going to be an aunt! A mix of emotions was running through her – though partially jealous of the femme having all of her brother’s attention, she also was lonely, desperately lonely. The pack had been fairly quiet as of late, though two new members had made their way to the border, and she missed the lupines she had become friendly with. But mostly, she was glad. Her brother’s life had been so much harder than her own, he truly deserved all of the happiness in the world.

Just then, Kahlan’s auds flickered backward, hearing a scratching noise behind her. Her haunches pushed off of the ground and launched her into the air, her body flipping around to properly face the oncoming sound. As a femme lupine came into her vision, Kahlan shook out her tricolored pelt, reprimanding herself for being so jumpy as of late. She normally was a calm (albeit overly talkative) lupine, who was gentle and took everything in stride. She seemed to be on edge as of late. Perhaps a new friend was just what she needed.

Hello there, careful of the footing. There are a lot of loose rocks in the area.
