During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The Way of the Warrior

There is no need to act, I will leave. I only ask that my brother stays. He may be quick to anger but is a great warrior. Aindreas entered the scene just in time to hear her words and his hopes both plummeted and raised. So the brute by her side that she seemed to have such a good connection with was not her love interest, but was her brother. While his jealous that had been simmering just below the surface faded away, so did his hopes that she would someday develop feelings for her. Though they had spent all of that time together, both at the boundary conversation and then at prey plateau hunting, she was choosing to leave. Her touch electrified him, and his mind flickered back to their hunt, where she had cleaned some blood off of his maw with her soft, sweet tongue. And then she had nuzzled him, and he had nuzzled her, and it was the first touch that he had felt since he had been a pup. Because of all of his years alone, touch tended to be unwanted. Aindreas could do without it – the only touch he enjoyed was feeling his prey struggling to get lose from his deathlike jaws. But her touch was different. It was something he strived to obtain – her touch. It calmed him and excited him all at once, which was extremely confusing to the brute, all of his conflicting emotions.

But she is leaving, and once gone, she would be gone forever. Aindreas clearly had offended her in some way, and had changed her mind about wanting to join the pack, even though this was now where her brother dwelled. The snowy ess turned to go, but paused, and then slowly turned, her eyes laying themselves upon him. Aindreas… Her vocals and softer than that had been, and gentle, as if they were a soft breeze. Aindreas finds himself frozen in place, his pride preventing him from begging her to stay. His desire to not be shot down and then heartbroken preventing him from gushing out his feelings for her. But his, dare he think it? His love for her kept him from moving or from taking his eyes off of her. But then a snarls rings out, breaking the spell in the air. I just love it when idiots toy with my sister’s heart. Aindreas’ icy gaze swings about to lay upon the blackened brute, his lids slitting themselves. “Do not speak about things that you know naught about.” His words are thickly lain with poison, offended by such words. He would never toy with a femme, especially not her. He could never do anything to hurt her. “What you accuse me of is far from the truth, if anything it is just the opposite.” His words dropped to a soft tone, almost a whisper. The lyrics spoken are the most personal ones he has ever spoken, though most would read them as vague.

Genisys turns away once more to go, and Aindreas let loose a soft whine before turning to face Serris. “She told me she was seeking to join the pack. That had been her intent. If she submits can’t she stay?” Aindreas hates himself for the sign of weakness that is present in his vocals – he had never shown any weakness to Serris before, but now, as she was walking away, his heart was breaking. His icy gaze turned quickly to lay upon her retreating form, his brows furrowing painfully.
