The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

The mystery boy's first reaction was to freeze, much like a deer when catching the scent of their stalker. This amused Seline, and had her chuckling quietly to herself. And when he dipped his jaw downward before shaking his skull, he was rewarded with a vaguely arched brow from the blood and snow Queen. Shy, perhaps. After she had spoken to Eric, the other pale, younger boy seemed finally able to turn his gaze on her. Though most of her attention was on Eric, she nonchalantly glanced the other boys way- more than several times, making eye contact and even once sending a wink his way. How amusing she could be to herself at times. And upon addressing the boy himself, his nerves seemed at their peak. His eyes betrayed him as he glanced away, uncertainty showing more than obvious across his expression. The way he fidgeted beneath her gaze had Seline mentally licking her chops. Oh, she was going to have so much fun. And just when she thought she was going to get a reply out of him- his then parted jaw snaps shut with an audible click. Cocking her skull to one side, her bright emerald gaze holds him for several long moments, curious to what holds his tongue. "You may speak, stranger. No harm in simple words."

But Seline does not have the time to await an answer. Another wolf is speaking up, the one who had entered the clearing just after she had. The one who had not spoken a word. He seemed to be wising up, or so she hoped. He introduced himself as Mezic, stating he was new to the area. Though she usually held her silence when lesser wolves spoke, Sel found herself in a social mindset just then. "Welcome to the glorious place that is Blossom Forest- Mezic." Her honey tones were laced with sarcasm, though if he were to watch on was purely up to him. It wasn't the welcome that was sarcastic, but more so the 'glorious' adjective used to describe Blossom Forest. Glorious indeed. But after speaking- the Satanican Queen is once again distracted. Only, this time, it's something she particularly wants. Eric's voice comes murmuring to her, and her frame shivers in anticipation at the simple tone of it. Subtly, and not so subconsciously, Seline adjusts her position so that she's closer beside the pale male, their fur just barely brushing against one another. His ice gaze is burning into her and she revels in this. Oh, if only they had had longer in the caverns with one another. Patience is key, and patience will get her just what she wants. Seline is bent on more interaction with him, but yet again- there is a distraction. Only, this time, it's her own flesh and blood.

Cade is beautiful. Of course, not as beautiful as Seline, but beautiful nonetheless. Just as with Quirino, gone is any hint of her puphood. She is a fully grown adult now, and a mighty fine specimen, just like her brother. The Satanican Queen finds a rather wide grin spreading across her scarred and crimson splattered muzzle at the simple sight of her daughter, amusment laced in when watching her reaction. Cade did her best to conceal her reaction, she really did- but her Mother knew her better than that. Surprise, slight admiration- and then anger, of all things. Which, was to be expected, since Seline had vanished into thin air without so much as a goodbye. This didn't bother the blood and snow Queen though, of course. Family was family, and it was as simple as that. The fake smile Cade gives her has her chuckling beneath her breath- oh yes, how lovely indeed, little one. And then lo and behold, the young crimson girl is turning her gaze on none other than the pale male beside Seline- Eric. And thus the real fun begins. Nothing is given away though, this time, but mere observation. Seline is slightly disappointed, but she know things will surface soon enough. Seline is Seline, after all.

After paying heed to Eric and herself, Cade is moving over to Quirino. Seline watches on with her ever intense venom gaze, their expression softening ever so slightly in witnessing the interaction between the siblings. With a sudden pang of ache within her chest, she recalls her own dearest brother- Valiant. It had been so long since she had seem him, that it felt like more than a life time. He was the only wolf, let alone the only male, to have truly ever dug his way within her breast to the heart of hers that is so deeply incased in frozen limbo. The only wolf to have ever have her full and utter devotion, love, and care. Her children have it runner up, of course. But nothing and no one has ever come close to Valiant. Casting a sidelong glance at Eric beside her, she amuses herself with the thought of him digging his way to her heart. If only, if only. And then Cade is speaking, interrupting Seline's thoughts. Watching as she arches her tail, Seline finds her eyebrow rising suggestively, momentarily toying with the idea of simply stepping forward to challenge. Oh what fun that would be, to see how much skill Cade has gained and improved upon. But instead, the blood and snow female hangs back in her position at Eric's side. She's feeling lazy on this particular day and not quite interested in going for the throne. If not now, perhaps maybe never. Who knows.

And then Mezic, one of the loners seeking a home, is jumping up and speaking. His voice is spilling forth rapidly, his excitement more than evident for one merely listening to him, let alone watching him. Seline is vaguely amused, but that's about it- vaguely. He gains no further words from her, and beside- it seemed Quirino was finally stirring from his almost comatose state of silence. The Satanican's bright venom gaze is turning toward her son, curious to what he shall do or say. His comment about her 'vacation' has yet another chuckle slipping from her dark lips. Isn't the handsome young man just so clever. Though his expression is stoic and undreadable, his voice gives away to the play of emotions going on in that crimson skull of his. She knows he is both displeased and yet relieved, though his next gesture catches her off guard. He quietly comes toward her, to nudge her chin with the top of his nose, holding contact there for just a moment, before withdrawing and sizing her up again. It had been so long that Seline's reserve almost crumbles. Almost. She says nothing as she keeps her gaze on them, their intense green softening with a love and care saved for her children, and only her children. She would reach out to him, to caress him, to nuzzle him as she would have when he was younger, but she refrains. There would be time for that to come. In the mean time- business was at hand.

Seline feels Quirino's gaze on her once again after Cade had spoken up about the pack. Again, the teasing idea of a challenge was prominent on the old Alpha's mind, but again- she held back. Her time would come, if she so wanted her throne back, though perhaps at a great consequence. After all- when you play the game of thrones, you win or you die.
