The Way of the Warrior

The fae had dangerously reacted to Aindreas’ words, clearly confused by both his words and his tone. Her auds had pinned themselves to her cranium and a slight grumble had began to grow in her chest before she choked it back wisely. She didn’t respond however, and Aindreas’ auds flickered backward, listening to the approach of a set of paws. Serris’ form slid up next to Aindreas’ until he was level with the snowy titan. Now now Aindreas, no need to be so harsh with the little lady. Charisma and intimidation, yes, but we are not cruel without reason. His vocals were not angry, but were instead were instructive, a good idea of how to greet strangers at the border in the future. Aindreas remained silent – Aindreas may be many things, but charismatic was not one that he was naturally. He would have to work on it… if he could figure out what it was. His social awkwardness would, no doubt, cause a hassle. The Alpha then bumped the brute on the shoulder and moved forward to face the femme. What can I do for you, princess? A smirk grew back onto Aindreas’ kissers and he wondered how serious Serris had been when he spoke before. Finally, the fae opened her maw in order to speak. Just hand me my crown. Aindreas cocked his head, confused momentarily until he realized that she was joking about what Serris had called her. Aindreas’ plume began to sway back and forth slightly, amused by the wordplay. All I’m looking for is acceptance. My name is Eris, by the way, sir. Aindreas remained silent, allowing his Lord to preside over the matters. Though the white titan had felt ready to take on his new responsibilities, he found that he was also glad that Serris had happened to show up for this first one.
But as he was no longer necessarily needed, his thoughts began to wander back to her. Confronting the unknown fae had been part of his plan to take his mind off of Genisys, but he found that it no longer was working. His harsh words that he had spoken to the fae earlier were due to his aggravation with his inability to confess how he feels about the femme. Their relation… or rather the lack thereof of a relation… was killing him. He had always been sure about everything, but now found himself unsure about everything. The white pelt of the stranger had made him hallucination, viewing Genisys instead of this teen. He had been daydreaming, he had been whining. He had become overly emotional in the company of others – in the company of both Serris and Gen’s brother. The snowy titan was ashamed of his behavior. It wasn’t how an adult male should react. A bit of irritation began to set in – it was her fault that he was weakening. She would be the death of him.
