Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

these people keep to themselves,

How would the others take to him? She imagined they were getting more and more resentful as the leaderships changed so often - she, on the other hand, had always been relatively apathetic of such things. It didn't really bother her who ruled so long as they did a good enough job of it and didn't start any stupid wars. Of course, being the first there met she did get the best seats in the house for inspecting the new Alpha - Alphas? Oh really, a mate? Well, that put a damper on her admiring eyes but nonetheless, she would... be nice, or her version of such a thing at least. Though the apparent Queen spoke quite a bit, introducing her son and whatnot, d'Mani simply offered a brief bow and wave of her tail. It's not that she wasn't open to the possibility of getting to know the female or her son or whatever, it just hardly seemed to be the time for such a thing - what with the muzzle biting and arrival of the others. Everchime, Mortz and Pan though she was hardly surprised by that - they'd been around even longer than she, and she was finally beginning to respect their apparent loyalty to the land. Still, she said nothing, not really, and instead offered each of them a quiet nod of acknowledgement. Pan still annoyed her at times - too many words, too much going on. Let the poor guy, this Silvertongue, get a chance to speak himself.

She was going to retort back at the newfound King but no, some other wolf decided to barge on in. Hell, she'd never seen the man before and suddenly he was blabbering on about all this something or rather. Aather? She rolled her eyes in his direction before watching him quizzically, intending to cut in the moment his voice ceased.

"How often exactly do you come marching over boundaries like you're hot stuff, huh?"

She didn't really want an answer and she made that obvious - another roll of her eyes as she shifted to face more away from him, facing Silvertongue once more. Thankfully Alana arrived then, something which brought perhaps the first sign of true friendliness to the pale female - she smiled, even as small as it were, with a wave of her tail. She liked Alana. Apparently she was a sucker for the shy types. Short lived as it were though because Miss Red Chest had to come blabbering in to with her silly special language and proclamations of blood. Newsflash honey, that's called a genetic fallacy - d'Mani's father was a warrior before, you know, he lost a leg but it didn't mean she could fight like a warrior. Whatever, let her have her special moments to feel all warm and fuzzy because of something her parents did or whatever. All d'Mani would do is sit and stare with that same, blank and apathetic smile that just cried out a sarcastic good for you.

"There was a female, Enigma, and her mate but I have not seen them in some time. Two others, too - Kiska, I think, and Salem. Those who have come this time though are a pretty good team, though."

She shrugged once more, almost impressed by her own attempt at a little compliment - give her a pat on the back. After all, they were a pretty well rounded team - except you, Aether, you stranger - who had remained both loyal regardless of leadership changes and had managed to bring down a damn sea lion. Yeah, he'd totally gotten himself a prize. Now he just needed to realise it.
