Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

So he was in a pack now. Strange given he just sorta barged in, but it usually worked. Again he attributed it to the fact that there weren’t many members and those who were had just hit the age where they start being able to look at the man and lady parts with a more appreciative eye. Though it seemed even some who had were still quite set in the opposite direction. How dull. Younger girls were always fun to chat with, and he couldn’t say he hadn’t been around the bend, but they enjoyed it. Sadly then they got clingy and then they got jealous and then they wanted him to do something like dig a den for them to share or take over a pack, hunt this or that. Ugh. Pass, no ma’am he would head out faster than a falcon dives.

Actually it was ironic that he mentioned that, he might have maybe knocked up the Alphess of his last pack. Oops. He knew he wasn’t about to be welcome there any time soon so he split, lands got too dull for him anyway. Too many knew him, of him, called him a lazy bum, that sort of thing for him to want to remain there. He didn’t try or want that, but she was the one flaunting her stuff and asking for it. Guess her man was too busy for it. Well Aether wouldn’t be cracking any jokes, but now the male would be busy for the next several years raising little hell raisers. Assuming they didn’t kill them. Ah well, easy come, easy go. Oh dear another joke.

He trotted over the lands, humming a tune that really had no flow at all and his paws dancing to them. Really he needed to see the Alpha, perhaps get to know him a bit better. He had been assigned to be a part of this thing called the Tree, and though Aether didn’t aspire to be much, he didn’t want to be on the low rungs either. He liked a little respect, he might be a tad lazy, but he wouldn’t shirk his duties if he was awarded any.

He was currently just aimlessly doing his little dance and looking around, he had a goal in mind but he was in no hurry to meet it. Silvertongue, he was looking for that handsome devil, he had to be about somewhere. Probably being chewed out by the pretty lady of his somewhere. Oh, the challenges of matehood. He would have to pass on that little trick, still he couldn’t have gone too far, he had a pack to get settled.
