Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

'Teeth. Blood. Wolves. Anger. Death. War. It was all there. Howls of pain and anguish rang out. Then of revenge. Blind rage was all that came into the warriors eyes. They would kill and they would win. Attempts had been made for far to long. No more pussyfooting around. This was how real life was. The kingdom was threatened and the threateners paid. The king lead his men on and on, but even the king is weak and will fall. All it takes is one good hit. And one good hit there was. Death was upon him. Death. Death. Deathhhhhh......'

The boy twitched. Snuffling around, gasping as if he were choking. The grey teen's eyes opened slightly and the whites showed clearly, only barely hinting of his irises. The convulsing grew stronger. As did the snuffling. A second wolf ran to his side, a stick in her maw. Forcing into his mouth, she whispered, "Shhhhh. I'm right here with you. Shhhh. I'm here." slowly, the siezures stopped. The titan's breathing steadied and returned to normal and his irises filled his eyes as they normally would. Blinking, the brute gradually became aware where he was again. A small den-no, it was a cave- a small cave, sheltering the siblings from the snow and frosty air. "What did you see this time?" the ess, Meera, asked softly. She was used to such things happening. They were a usual occurrence, happening daily. Pale gray, nearly white face turned, stormy gray orbs meeting her hazel ones. "I saw a battle and a dead king. His people will be lost and confused. I must help." for a split second, the lupine considered getting up. That was before he was brought back into the present. "That battle was long ago. Much before our time." That was the way his dreams worked. Things that were, things that are, and things that will be. Those were what he dreamed. Not meaningless dreams, but events and metaphors. The kind of dreams one like this boy pondered for deeper meanings and feared for the events they showed.
Meera stood, looking to the opening of the little cave. Leaving her brother, the ess made her way out into the fresh mountain air. It stung her nares and made scenting hurt. The air was still. Uncomfortably so. No breeze came. Nothing to give even a hint of prey if there even was any. At the altitude they were, the femme doubted anything was up here. Hazel visionaries drifted to the mountain peak, attempting to look past to the other side. Trying to cross the mountains was proving to be more difficult than anticipated. That wasn't even including their slow progress. A sigh came from the fae. They would have to travel more and rest less. Most of the delays had been caused by the storms that were plaguing the frigid mountains, but some had been from plain weariness. The girl poked her face back into the shelter they were using. "Oi, Jojen. Get your bloody self out here. Now."
Long pillars straightened themselves to full height. Lanky build stretched itself out before moving to the exit. Despite the one year age difference, the new frame exceeded the first by a good few inches. Orbs squinted slightly in the sudden brightness. "Well?" Jojen inquired. What could his sister want? Her head swiveled in his direction, facial coloring identical except for the eyes. "We need to go." Meera was blunt and to the point. She didn't intend on staying here longer than necessary. Not bothering to wait for Jojen to acknowledge that he was following, the ess' stride carried her away. The brute, on the other hand, stayed put. "Really? With the storm coming?" The femme froze. "What storm?" her cranium slowly turned back. "The one over there." The brujo jerked his nose towards a mass of gray clouds. "We'll get caught in it if we leave." Meera gritted her teeth. It wasnt worth the risk. "Fine. We leave as soon as the storm ends. In the meantime, get some rest while you still can." Jojen's stride propelled him into the cave within a matter of seconds. His form curled into a corner of it, eyes closing, mind already in the next vision. The feya lay in the entrance, half of her body outside the cave keeping watch, the other half inside the cave. This way all that needed to be done to aid her brother was scooting backwards. Resting her head on her paws, Meera watched over the land through half lidded eyes. Keeping guard, but only just.
