Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

He hadn’t thought it had been bad that he had attempted to help her. His ears flicked slightly still grumbling angrily at the thought of failure. He would not tell his brother of this failure, or his mother, he would just be quiet for surely if she found out he would not be having his dinner that night. His stomach churned at the very thought, surely this girl had never been without a meal in her life. Thinking on that girl he had only just heard the boy’s approach. Turning his opalescent gaze upon Tristan Magnus blinked as he spoke the common tongue, laughing as he commented on what he had said in the better language. Well then, they were lesser really, they were not of angel or demon breeding.

He knew there were some not of those bloodlines in Diveen but it seemed many of the members there did indeed speak Latin. The old tongue, and a far better language than common tongue. He knew both thankfully, and well thanks to his father and then mother pounding out any irregularities in his speech. She would not be having him speaking like the Queen Isola so broken, or many of the children who had combined the languages together. They were not meant to be mixed.

He did not speak for a moment, but looked passively at the boy who was making fun of his smell and words. Magnus simply scoffed at him, ”It is of a better language than you speak, and I do not smell funny. I had my bath this morning like every mor-“ He felt a tingle down his spine as if eyes were on him, his body reacted quickly, hitting the ground and rolling just before she had a chance to land. He tensed up then countered the girl, scrambling to his large paws and attempting to take her down letting out a little puppy roar simply aiming to knock her down and pin her with his greater size.

He was not going to let her go if he succeeded, it didn’t escape him now that perhaps these two puppies were siblings as he was with Alchemy. Girls could fight too, he knew that, after all his mother and Malina were good fighters, his Mom’s Malina was also one of the Angelic Assassins, one of the very best at that. He would not take Viora lightly, he would treat her just as he would Alchemy. Roughly.
