PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

ALICE
SING, IF YOU REALLY THINK IT’S WORTH SAVING ME

Alice had always wanted a sister. Or a brother, but mainly a sister. Perhaps an older one, one in which could show her all of life’s little secrets, and one that could teach her about boys and what exactly you are supposed to do with them. (For Alice is quite unsure of how to respond to these creatures.) Or maybe a younger sister, one that Alice could do the teaching, although she really does not know that much about the world, except that it was quite a lovely place that held many secrets that the black hued mare was determined to unlock. Secrets she could then share with her sister, like girls in a fort with a ‘no boys’ sign hanging outside it, while they laughed, giggled, and awed about the world around them, an endless invitation of joy.

So this mare lived here. Alice brightens for the moment, happy to find a resident of this place. Alice also notes that this mare is young. Why, she is barely old enough to even be called a mare. The black mare is aware though that age really is just a number, and that life experiences make the age, not how many years someone has been walking upon the terrain of the home planet.

She seems upset. Alice does not know why, nor does she have an inclination of what may have the caused the young girl to become upset and she hopes she will be okay. But she seems friendly, and Alice latches on to the friendly words given to her as if they were air for her to breathe. It had been awhile since she had met another friendly face.

“You should not be sad dear Morena!” Alice says brightly, as if that were all to it. All one had to do to not be sad was to, well, not be sad. If only it were that easy.
