At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

The lake fell into the view of two icy blue orbs, the sight being both pleasant and yet undesirable for the alabaster male. He had arrived in Blossom Forest not long ago and though the lake was not his ultimate destination he longed to dip his broken and cracked pads in the cool and refreshing liquid. He had travelled for many days and nights in order to arrive in the place he once called home and was already starting to regret the decision to leave the place he had resided in for most of his life. Yes, he may have lived there but it would never be home. He wasn’t exactly sure where home was, but he knew that Blossom played a big part in his life and he would always regard it highly even if, right now, he wanted to be anywhere but here. He dragged his weary limbs to the rippling water a sigh of relief sounding from his chest as the aqua soothed his aching appendages. For now he was content to stay in the lake but it would soon be time to face the demons he ran from so long ago.

Four ashen paws stalked the edge of the lake, repeating the same path over and over. Words spluttered from the spectres lips, muffled under his breath only loud enough for his own auds. So many thoughts buzzed round the lad’s mind, their draining effect clear on the alabaster boys face. His body conveyed a more subordinate stance though for him it was normal and posed no discomfort. The tip of his tail scrapped lightly across the terra as he walked, causing a shiver to trail down his spine. Once or twice the lad would cease his forward motion and stare into space like he had seen a ghost, before turning round sharply and carrying on with his routine. Once upon a time, the lake would have served to calm his nerves and help him see clearly but today it was doing nothing. It felt like nothing on the earth could do anything to make his decision any easier. The choice to return home to Saw Tooth and the family he left behind.

Luckily for the reserved male he was not left to fester in the horrors of his own memories for too long as a rather bedraggled looking female wandered out of the shadows. Her dark coat was dull and dirty and the remnants of four white socks covered her hocks. The male’s frosty orbs swiftly fell to the floor on which his paws were dancing nervously. Being in the vicinity of another wolf was difficult enough not to mention being in the area with a female. A lone ear flickered towards the boulder the lass had rested her bodice upon as a sigh escaped her jaws. Slowly and against his better judgement the male allowed his cranium to turn slowly towards the unhappy madam his body arching slightly in a submissive manner. The social awkward brute didn’t have the slightest clue on how to approach the female nor what to say to her even if he decided to, but with a sigh, he edged his way closer to the female.

It wasn’t long before he was stood just under the boulder and his shaky limbs made sitting down an easy option. His lanterns traced upwards gradually until they landed solely on the unkempt lass a sympathetic yet anxious look falling on his face. ”A... Are you okay M’am?”

OOC- I’ve written the post as if it happened before he went back to Saw Tooth. He stopped off here to compose himself before he returned home :)
