Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

She had not seen him for some time. That mystery phantom who had swooped in and captured her in one easy breath. Rhae was not accustomed to such a thing, but she accepted it as it was. He was a delicacy to her, after all. Something she had never even dreamt of finding within her lifetime. It had never been on her mind, nor something she was focused on. And thus when he had appeared out of nowhere, she was completely as well as utterly unprepared for the events afterward to unfold. They had shared a hunt together, feasted together, enjoyed one anothers company. He was intoxicating to her senses and oh so very tantalizing. Granted, she had found various attractive wolves in her time of travel, but she had never felt something like this. There was a tug, deep within the confines of her gut that tugged her toward him. And when she finally found herself alone, she was not sure which direction to turn and head in. Instead, all she could think of was him, and him alone. Iblis.

After so many days, a wolf could only take so much. She could only take so much. Shaking her chocolated dusted creme pelt, her teal eyes swept around her surroundings to gain a bearing. It was the opposite of the side of the crater she had intially descended and encountered Iblis. Something had told her to come here, to search as she did for something. In the very innermost corner of her mind, she knew it was for him. For her dark knight. Her other half. Her imprint, even if she did not very well know it. Rhae moved her frame until she was exhausted- and then continued on. She had to find him, regardless of the cost it was to herself. Call her frantic, concerned, a lunatic- she did not rightly care. All she cared about was Iblis, and to see him, to touch him, to breathe him in and know that he was alright. She wanted desperately to call out to him, to voice her longing and want but refrained. Who knew who lurked out there, and it seemed that Iblis might have very well been a wanted fellow.

At last, she picked up on his scent, immediately veering ever so slightly to the left and increasing her pace. She was more than a little eager to see him, and teal eyes widened ever so slightly. There he was, in all his multihued glory, his eyes searching before him just as hers had been moments prior. Rhae found a grin stretching across her thick yet feminine jaw, her teal eyes lighting up at the simple sight of him. Without restrained, she let out a small bark of greeting, before closing the distance between him and sliding her muzzle alongside his neck. Granted, they were still new to one another, their bond and tie to one another was unmistakeable. Rhae did not believe for one moment that they were not supposed to be with one another, enjoying their company and simple companionship. He was her everything, and she was not about to release him from that. "Fancy finding you here, handsome." Her tones were excited and yet at peace. She had finally fond him, and she planned on spending what time he could offer her with him. No matter what.
