Serenity. Oh, sweet silence. It was a delight to the solitary, charcoal femme. Her counterpart had gone amiss and yet she was not bothered in the least bit for a large amount of time. Aelisu was constantly champing at the bit to go somewhere different, see new things, new wolves. Yet Aelaera could not possibly want anything more than what they had - they had escaped from the imminent downfall of their home and finally a sense of reliance and security within this new world. The pair had not become a constituent of any pack, but the realization that they could survive well without one was enough to keep the larger female appeased with the nomad lifestyle.
Although, as the day passed on, she found herself quite displeased with how their situation had ended up. Her mood managed to shift from content at the peace of being alone to irritable from missing the company of her twin. A part of her felt torn away, and though she was not the most emotional type, she knew that she was better off with her bemused sibling.
It did not take long at all to pick up on her doppelganger's trail and she was soon upon the girl in the amount of just under an hour. Blackened paws touched the first signs of grassland in a smooth gait, her nose dipping down to scent the earth every so often as she went before she was capable of merely targeting her sister through vision alone. "Aelisu!" Her bark was sharp and quick, sure to grab the girl's attention within a split-second. Though Aeli's play seemed to be a bit more distracting as she splashed in the shallows of the body of water, her jaws snapping in the air above her in sequences.
Aelaera slowed her gait to a slow jog as she moved up to the lake side, her bi-toned expression smug, though she could not manage to hide a short smile at her sister's strange way of romping about. "What on earth are you doing?" Her tone rose in pitch as she spoke to her, a brow raising for a dramatic sense. Yes, she had missed the lighthearted capering of Aelisu.
