Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

My c o l d desire
to hear the boom, boom,
b o o m of your heart

She did not ever doubt that Tesseract would find them a home. One that was won by tooth and nail, all out brute force that had always been the way of Nature. She agreed with it even though she knew that her dearest brother was far more skilled at the tongues and slights of paw. It was another way that they were destined to be together. They were each others mirrors and opposites and compliments all in same rushed breath. He had returned victorious though bloodied. She had tended his wounds individually, fussing at him in her own way as he tried to tend to them himself. And then she had gathered the girls, forcing them all to stop picking at each other and follow their bruised and battered father to the lands that they now were true princesses of.

She had inhaled the salt air as they crossed the borderlands. This was the land that she had murdered their half-brother in. The poor excuse for a Ruvindra son had pleaded for his life but a cripple was hardly something that Caligula would allow to adulthood. Tesseract had not truly approved but in her determination to keep their bloodline untarnished by those half-bloods was something that she would not compromise on. She ushered the girls inland from the beach to find them a suitable den. Even on the coast the dirt was too cold to really dig a new one for them, so the search for a pre-made den was something that took an effort. She had already threatened Cersei as they neared the end of the journey with a swift snap of her jaws when the incessant whining plucked the last nerve. When she had found an appropriate den near the treeline and yet also near the river that ran towards the ocean. She made sure their scent was strong there and then she sought out Tesseract. She would join him in meeting whatever tattered remains of the pack would greet their new leaders. It would be a united front in the way that they did everything.

The girls trailed along each sniffing and exploring their new world. And when they got to the sand dunes, there was a smile on her features as they stood wide eyed and still for the first time in what seemed like forever. It was then that their father's voice that echoed out. She paused only a moment to look out into the blue green beauty that was the ocean pounding against the shore before the navy and lavender eyed wolf moved towards the sound of her lover's voice. She could hear the reluctant pattering of paws behind her. It was hard to believe that the girls were going to be a year in only a short time.

She reached him without too much difficulty and sat on his left side, a soft nudge of greeting and a reassurance that she was here to show the strength of them to the world. Finally, they would be where they had always belonged. They were the children of a Queen and her Soul. They were meant to be at the top. Decidedly, they were here to stay.
