Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Not willing to bow so fast, huh? Usually, he expected such a thing would have bothered an Alpha, particularly one so green as himself. Perhaps it should have but then he had never expected any to bow so eagerly, particularly not one who stood outside his and Caligula's territory. Besides, the dark girl was not a wolf of Glorall. For now, he was content for her to represent herself with such power... it was endearing, after all, to see another with that push inside them.

It was Chickadee's approach that surprised him the most, her body sinking low into submission. He had to admit, it stroked at his ego and brought an even broader smile to his face but still, it was quite amusing to watch the stark differences between she and the stranger. His gaze moved between the two with a cocked brow, attempting to decide what exactly their relationship was before Chickadee's voice stole his attention entirely.

"I do suppose winter is not the best season for games - perhaps it'd be best if I offered you a game come spring, no?"

He chuckled, moving to a halt some distance from Jagger with another momentarily bow of his head. It had taken him some time to work out what had been happening between the dark wolf and Chickadee, but it reminded him of his behavior with his own Caligula. It was on the verge of being protective - watchful, weary. He recognised such behavior in the way Jagger glanced towards Chickadee, her attention more so locked onto the smaller girl. With that in mind, he waved his tail once more and moved aside just slightly, giving Chickadee a little more personal space in an effort to appease the other female as she spoke.

"There really is no better way to spend a winter afternoon then watching the storms roll in."

It was a mere observation as he twisted his head to watch out over the ocean, watching as it became even more violent. If they had not yet felt the brunt of the storm then it was certainly coming - he was about to speak on such matters before Chickadee spoke once more, his head turning back instantly and drifting between the two. Jagger - he nodded in acknowledgement before flashing them both a toothy grin and stepping aside as to as to open up a path into the territory.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Jagger. Any friend of Chickadee's is a friend of mine. If you would like, I can take you within Glorall - there are many spare dens that that would undoubtedly be better for weathering out storms than the open beach."

He chuckled quietly, shaking his head as he watched the sand around them begin to stir, warning them of the incoming wind that would soon creep to shore. He'd experienced quite a number of storms pass by in the storm time he had taken ownership of Glorall, but he imagined they would only worsen as spring began to gain ground.

He watched then, head slightly cocked and tail ever so slowly waving behind him. Would they take him up on such an offer? He had no intentions on forcing or even trying to sway them so terribly into staying in Glorall - he merely offered them shelter, it would simply be a wonderful turn of events if they so happened to enjoy the innermost territory too. As for Jagger, he had grown most curious of the girl. So small and yet, a powerful looking woman with hints of a brutal past marking her body. What was the correlation between she and Chickadee? Was their a past there or had he merely encountered, by chance, a wolf with the drive to take others beneath her wing? He had to know.
