Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

She remains by him in their moment of embrace, knowing that there is no bad blood between the two of them as he eagerly accepts her touch. She knows that no matter what he does, no matter what business he may have to run off to.. she will always forgive him and accept him back with a loving embrace. He is all of her dreams come true, her blue-eyed prince, her savior. Their souls may not be bound by the strange laws of this land, but nothing could sever the connection within their hearts. He chose her.

She could sense something different in the way that he welcomed her, perhaps restraint, considering what season it may be. Rose had been raised far from Moladion and in a fairly traditional pack; she and the other young females tended to the offspring while the older males hunted for their next meal. There were allowances for the strongest of females to join them, but they were a treasure within the pack and were kept safe at all times to preserve their health for birthing new pups in the next season. She had been taught that her sole purpose in life was to be a mother and to bear the life of another when her body was ready, but she had missed that opportunity in the prime of her fourth year after meeting Eric. It was not the same here, not so simple as she had expected, these wolves did not abide by the same guidelines as she had known all of her life. Now, four years later, she has yet to birth even a single litter of offspring and the thought of which was beginning to dampen her spirits.

Her pale head nods softly as he assures her that he will not leave her again, not like he had before, and she offers a glimmer of a smile. She trusts that he is being truthful with her and believes in his words completely, but the lingering thought of her on-going failure to be a mother ensures that she cannot be one-hundred percent happy in this moment. But the contagious nature of Eric's smile cannot be denied and a soft simper of her own returns as she looks away bashfully. It is a wonder that she still cannot look at him for longer than a moment without such a thing happening, as if she were four years younger again all over. Her gaze slips back up as he speaks and her auds tip back to him, there was something playful hidden in those words and she happened to enjoy the innuendo. "Not yet, this is the first time that I've stepped foot back here -- It's all so.. strange." She turned her head to look around at the field that surrounded them and to the shimmering lake just beyond. Her attention returned to her paramour though as she walked towards him, her figure brushing lightly against his own as she passed him by. "We could find a place -- together." Her caribbean blues fell upon the island in the center of the lake as she wondered what treasures were hidden there. She would have to find out someday, maybe soon.
