If truth were told, he was not so sure what Caligula thought on the matters regarding Spirane. He doubted she had entirely forgiven Alcide for injuring him so long ago and yet, surely she would be able to see not only the tactical benefits but also the diplomatic benefits that came with a potential agreement. Besides, Spring was upon them and they would need to begin training their own ranks if they hoped for any kind of long term success. There was only so much he and the others could teach before they began to encounter problems - more wolves to learn from meant more variety, after all. Of course, it was more of a matter of what exactly he could bring to Spirane he imagined. That was a trickier subject, no? Glorall was a relatively small pack, one that had endured great instability and yet... it was worth a shot to have Alcide see things from his perspective. Surely the old man could hold no disrespect over a man who was simply doing as he needed to do for his own family.

Still, he had insisted that Caligula remain within the Glorall territory. She had grown particularly rounded with pups and was bound to birth any day now - it was his objective to make it back before then, but he figured it would be best that she be home with their sister, Jagger and Chickadee in case he was not. It was not use her giving birth somewhere between the sea and mountain. Besides, it would likely be tense enough with just himself let alone a small posse following him. There were only two exceptions to his going alone rule which were, if they so chose to come, Tristan and his own daughter, Octavia. Tristan had come across as a particularly bright child, something Tesseract was more than happy to allow the boy to excel within and Octavia, well, was Octavia. He could not say no to his daughter's desires to perfect the art of diplomacy and politics.

He had taken off come the first light of the sun, traversing for some half the day before arriving from the southernmost border of Spirane. He kept his distance, daring not to tread anywhere near the borders - best to show such a respect early on, he figured. He had explained the basic premise to the children, too, ensuring (or at least hoping) they would do no wrong. They were simple rules: stay away from the border and do not cross it; you may introduce yourself and speak up when you believe it to be necessary, but allow most of the speaking to me. Simple rules. Enough restriction to ensure they could do no real damage to relations but enough leniency to allow them room to learn. That's what he hoped for at least.

So they stood, some yards away from the beginning of the border, his form ahead of the two children in subtle defense of them. His tail remained positioned proudly over his rump, though lower than it usually would have been in Glorall, waving slowly as he watched the mountain. Finally, after some deliberation within himself, he lifted his head and called for Alcide or any who may speak on his behalf. The intention was clear - this was peace.
