Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Chickadee had never given thought to the idea that one's imprint might be someone awful. But now that the thought was in her head, she found herself fearing that this could very well be the case. What if her imprint was someone terrible and cruel? What if her imprint was snobbish and cold?

Chickadee found her thoughts turning briefly to Valerian, and despite her best efforts to the contrary she could feel a blush creeping up over her face. She had been disappointed at the realization that he was not her imprint -- at least, she didn't think he was. But that did not diminish what she felt for him..

She had always imagined that she would not love anyone other than her imprint, from birth until death. Now, faced with her own feelings of infatuation for a complete stranger and the possibility of her imprint being some unknown horror seemed to flip her world on it's head.

Certainly, if an imprinted pair were made for each other, Jagger would have found someone who did not rub her so wrongly..

Chickadee sighed, shifting back a little. "I just don't understand," she muttered, mainly to herself. "This isn't at all how I had imagined it would be.."

The auburn girl flicked her loving gaze back to Jagger, her face creased with concern. "Are you sure he's your imprint? I mean... how do you know?"
