Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

((Anselm))

Melek was done! She was so frustrated by the annoying sounds and smells of little ones running around Diveen! They were so noisy and useless! All they did was cry and whine! The yearling girl thought those of her age were terrible! The ones that were younger were even worse! She never even thought of the prospect of puppies being younger than her until she started seeing them popping up all over the place like daisies. She hadn’t tried talking to one yet, but she spied on them hearing them screech about the most retarded things! She never had such fascination in such silly things like flowers and bugs! No she was much more focused on things like mice, voles and other things that actually were interesting to play with and beat up! Sometimes they even bit back! Yes, this generation was very weak, but she couldn’t say that many of her siblings were much better. Israfel wasn’t bad he was mopey if anything but at least he wasn’t too frustrating, especially compared to their sister Sable.

She generally like the highland pack of Diveen. The terrain and the prairie dogs she constantly terrorized were the best parts! Now the praire dogs had babies too and they were just as exciting to play with whenever they dared poke their little heads out. Oh how she wished she could squish them and bite them and toss them like she did the praire dogs. She had grown a lot since the days of stalking them with that one weird boy a while ago, so now she didn’t need help to play with them. Though that day certainly had been fun and taxing, it was a fond memory. She however had been hell bent on learning his language since though. She had pestered her father and sister to teach and and now she was getting pretty good at it. She worked very hard just so she could talk to him as well as done a bit of reconnaissance on him and his family. Well sort of.

She had really just bugged her family into spilling anything they knew about them. The boy’s name was Anselm as she had thought, his mother was Ava an assassin like her father and sister, then he had two siblings who Melek didn’t really care to know. One strange boy was enough; she didn’t want to know another from the same mother.

This land she had made it too was very different from home. Trees everywhere! Much more dense and thick than at Diveen! She felt like a ninja as she danced around the trees searching for baby rabbits that were either just leaving the den to start their own lives or were just going out to explore. Melek’s dark slender frame moved around, her mismatched gaze seeking out any movement. Her blind pale teal eye was useless, and she hated it. Why have the damn thing at all then? It was just something for others to make fun of her for. She rather liked her gold and black flecked one though, it looked crazy sinister which usually deterred those who dare teased when she had her fangs at them. Yeah she wanted to see anyone try to push her around, half blind or not.

She wasn’t having any luck finding anything to play with though, a disappointment on many levels. Melek was a stubborn girl though, she would keep looking until she found something or someone to play with before the day’s end.
