Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Spirane, for the most part, had been secured as an ally, or at least they had come to a mutual respect. Soon enough, he planned on sending Chickadee and Maradona to the pack to benefit from their healers' knowledge - in turn, he would open up the possibility for Spirane to share in the beneficial plants of Glorall. Chickadee had already begun to unravel the properties of many of the sea side plants - Tesseract would need to reward her soon enough. For now, however, he had been content to merely loiter about he and his mate's den. It had been of utmost relief when Caligula had birthed their children with no complications, and even more of a relief when they had discovered them all to be in perfect health. Six. Six children born to be just as perfect as they should have been - if he was not the luckiest wolf of Moladion, then he could not imagine who would be.

It would seem, however, that such a peaceful day could not last forever for a howl broke up the hymn of waves. It was a howl he recognised only very distantly but one that spoke of importance. He sighed quietly as his son, Judas, snorted and huffed over once more having to see his father end his lessons and stories prematurely once more. That merited a nip as Tesseract rose, scolding the boy for his impatience. It was not the time to huff over such petty things, for business relating to Glorall would always be of utmost importance (lest it be Caligula's wellbeing) - he would not have a son who did not recognise such a thing. The instability of Glorall had undoubtedly been caused from such beliefs, not solely for the past leaders being physically incapable. With summer upon them, he had been slightly on edge, expecting another to come looking for a fight. For now, however, he took comfort in the lack of malicious intent of the call for him and, additionally, Caligula.

He felt no need to call for others as he took off towards the call. If others heard the call and desired to inspect it then so be it, they could participate in whatever occurred but if not, then he was more than content to tend to it personally. After all, he was most used to working on a more solitary basis.

It did not take him long to locate the source of the call - Glorall had quickly become a familiar ground for him, his paws fast finding the quickest routes and bringing the group into view. The first, and foremost, thing he recognised was the all to known form of Isola. Of course, even loners often knew of the Diveen queen - as one of the largest packs and families, they were often spoken of. He raised a brow at that, his features breaking into a half smile as his tail rose proudly over his back. The other two weren't so familiar but undoubtedly, by the positions in which they held, had come as some sort of guard. Perhaps he would have taken that to offense in any other situation but... today, he would not. After all, Diveen had only recently been involved in a war with his mother at the epicenter. Not many had heard the memo, after all - Tesseract more than often rejected his parent's blood, finding them both to be most intolerable. The only reason Ruvindra was permitted life was because of Caligula's wishes.

He held himself proudly and tall as he approached, coming to a halt opposite to them and some five or so feet away. He passed a glance to each wolf, giving them a quiet nod of acknowledgement before his eyes rested coolly on Isola, his lips still pulled up into a curious half smile.

"Isola - and guests."

He bowed his head once more to her so briefly as a formal greeting. How odd to think that they stood as equals after so long - how odd to think that he stood as an equal, officially at least, to anybody. For so long, he had failed miserably time and time again and yet... finally, it seemed that he had finally found his footing. For now, he would remain standing, his tail waving slowly behind him for a moment - friendly intent and whatnot, after all.

"What do I owe the pleasure?"

They were surely here for business, no? He had not heard of the queen going too many places without intent, and he had never been the one for small talk.
