News - SUMMER

Summer has arrived. The world has been well at peace, and others seem to be trying to take advantage. They believe we are lazy and complacent. We are no such thing. Remain vigilante, friends and family.

Give your congratulations to Maiko. She has been promoted to Blizzard; she earned it.

We also have an activity check going. Please reply so I can make adjustments accordingly. Check will go for an entire month so we can hopefully capture everyone.

As always, if you have need of me, do not hesitate to find me.

I suppose I was mildly displeased. Not unusual really. I often find myself mildly displeased with one thing or another and yet- in this I had held some apparent faith, misguided, it would seem. Isola and Kane have borne to highly exceptional litters of pups, Achilles was the first and indeed a finer, more pure child could not exist. The boy is exceptional, he is perfection and indeed, Devil and I could not be more proud of our grandson. The boy is exactly as he should be and truly though I may not live to see the day he takes over I am entirely content to leave my rather substantial empire to such a creature as he. The second litter my daughter had chosen to bare was equally as pleasing, perhaps not quite to the extent of Achilles, though indeed perfection cannot be improved upon. Solaris is a perfect example of our bloodline, it is merely a shame the boy in unhinged- or at least, I believe so. Truly I am convinced there is something wrong with him. He may carry the eyes of his grandmother and my first mate, yet I am assured, entirely, that nothing good will ever come from that child. As for Sage, well, the girl is exceptional, her build is superior to many and indeed I may even be willing to look past her black coat (for which I blame Kane and Devil entirely), her eyes however- I loathe. There has never been an Angel child yet with mismatched eyes and indeed I see it as a taint, something I blame Kiska for, simply because I can. Sage however, is at least rescued from her unfortunate eyes by her obvious intelligence and determination, something I am willing to take credit for. It is the recent litter that brings me…discord. Forfax, as his siblings, is superior. Haziel and Ariel however- well, while I do indeed adore them, they are my grandchildren after all, I cannot help but find myself displeased. Ariel is deaf, Haziel is blind and this…..this has never happened, my blood does not produce imperfection, I have fathered near twenty children and never produced a single, defective child, how this occurred I cannot say. Perhaps Ariel has a chance, but Haziel? Kane should have taken the boy’s life as I did with Saintly….some things are just not meant to be.

What? I am simply being practical where others have allowed emotion to infect them. Perhaps I am old and tired and jaded against a world that I have seen take three sons from me, leaving me only with that imbecile Azrael a rarely seen Kamiyo and Forfax whom has not returned from his travels. As for Eden and Anselm…..perhaps I fathered them, yet I will never claim them as my own, I cannot, the pack is not nearly ready to handle something like that although truly I am assured they would make better heirs then Azrael, who ever heard of an assassin who fears the sight of his own blood? I rolled my dazzling violet eyes at the mere thought, toned, hard white frame gliding silently along the ground and towards the den of Isola and Kane, having decided indeed to visit my grandchildren this day and attempt to convince myself that Haziel might one day be useful- though it is doubtful. The boy will surely walk off a cliff and end himself, Kane and Isola should have spared themselves that, been rid of him when they discovered his weakness. I sighed, pushing the thoughts away for now, moving easily upward before the sound of voices reached the snowy white of my ears. Amir and…Voltaire. Hmm, how very amusing, In fact I believe I have kicked both of these wolves out of my pack at some point and honestly I feel Isola was bold in allowing the both to live here. Oh well. I hardly care.

I yawned, slowing my stride to a walk, moving to glide up silently behind a boy holding a fish. How nice of him to bringing Moladion’s King an offering. It’s been rather a while since I partook in such a pleasing meal. A momentary smirk graced my lips as I moved to glide past the boy, jaws reaching down to snatch the fish from his paws, breaking into a lope, long stride eating up the ground as I leapt up and onto a rock above the trio, my prize neatly in my jaws as I set it down, easing my aged white form atop the heated stone, placing the fish atop them with a wicked grin as I chuckled. Truly he should be honoured to have provided the greatest king this land has ever seen with a meal he finds acceptable. I shall have to remember this boy. I allowed my violet gaze to rest on him a moment longer, one eye lifting in a playful tease before I returned my attention to Amir and Voltaire, both wolves whom have served me at some point or another in my extensive career. I offered both younger male a momentary grin that was perhaps…mildly friendly, I say mildly because I find myself slightly annoyed at them all the same for continuing to carry on this feud between themselves, honestly, it has been…years now.

“Oh please, continue, don’t mind me, I have my snack, I’m quite prepared for a show. Although if either of you displease me sufficiently I shall drag you both out of this pack by your tails. You, Nootau, isn’t it? Come up here and join me, it is quite the view and if you’re lucky you may see two wolves destroying the ambiance of my day. Please go ahead, Amir, Voltaire- let us get this over with.”

My voice held a slight threat, a slight warning. Amir and Voltaire are entirely welcome to discuss there issues as much as they like, but if they dare set upon each other in my presence and disrupt the peace of this pack I will end this fight for the both of them. Maybe I am eighteen years of age, but there is a reason I have never yet been defeated in combat and I am entirely content to offer a demonstration of why I have ruled for so, so very long. Please, make my day.
