She keeps her attention on her Mother's face, looking for any sort of acknowledgement for her accomplishment. She looks...amused, at least so Viora thinks. That is enough to please the young girl. Viora sits her elegant, growing frame tall and proud, showing her mother her true wit and strength by capturing such fast prey, with the help of a bird previously, of course. Viora wasn't one to take that from the bird though. She would admit it.
"I think, a bird had injured it. See, marks of the claw?"she said, as her muzzle points to the mouse and paw carries through by pointing to the small injury. Of course by then, her mother had out her paw on the mouse to prevent it from escaping, but it was still visible. Viora smiles, once again proud of her ability to identify things like injuries. It smelled like it might have been one of those flying death creatures, but she wasn't for certain yet in her year of life.
Her mother leans in, nuzzles, and licks her on the forehead. Viora is not opposed to the physical affection. It is more preferred over words, that is for certain. She does not react too much though, for she is more intensely focused on the little creature that her mother had her paw on.
Her ears perk, her pretty face directing towards the mysterious one of her mother. She listens to her words, how she is proud and this makes the young girl's tail wag. She then blinks, her stunning blue eyes that she got from the mother before her shimmering with glee. She was a natural fighter, and is actually a naturally vicious creature. Pride was the only thing holding back Viora from eating the mouse right then and there.
Viora turns her head, looking down upon the little mouse. She then lowers her white muzzle, giving it a good sniff before she grasped it with her fangs. There was a quiet squeal as she gave two good chomps before she swallowed the thing whole, no blood being spilled other than what was already present from the mouse's previous injury. She shrugs a bit, before turning back to her mother.
"It isn't very...tasty. I like the meat you bring home better. Lets go get some." she said with much conviction, raising to her paws expectantly. She had never hunted with her mother before, but this was around the age when puppies started to learn. Viora already had the drive to attack and kill, probably more so than most. It was something that may never be toned down in the wild girl, who has the mind of all out attack with no defense. Maybe if she hunted, she would learn a thing or two.
