Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

ISTAS

They don't see me coming, who can blame them?

Istas had volunteered for this little task of going to Glorall. He didn’t think he could ever amount to being anything more than a talker, as he was fast but not strong and had no interesting in hunting for others he found himself thinking perhaps diplomacy was the place for him to begin. It wasn’t without his own selfish interest that he also chose to join Lux on her trip to Glorall though. Hardly. A long time ago he met two foul girls who he believed were relatives to his family and they had said that their daddy was an Alpha. It had been discovered later that his half brother was an Alpha now. He wondered if those vile little girls were telling the truth, though at the time they were saying they were princesses of an open land and how much better they were than him.

So he wanted to see this male that was their father. Awkward as it was to see their father and know that he was Istas’ half brother he knew it had to be done. His curiosity wouldn’t allow for it to be any other way. He followed quickly, knowing that perhaps his brother Vainglory wouldn’t be far behind. He wanted to go too. Why, Istas didn’t know or care. Just because he thought, but he wasn’t here yet and Istas had ran as fast as he could after Lux to beat him to the task.

There were more reasons why he wanted to go to Glorall, save his own curiosity about Tesseract. A boy he had met in the free lands came from Glorall. He was strong, fun to look at and quite different than other boys he had met. For sure though he would be here. It was his pack and Istas had no reason to believe he had left or knowledge that indeed the boy had left Glorall since the new alpha’s take over.

Steadily padding behind Lux and Demitri the boy was silent and a ghost behind them. It wasn’t his first trip to Glorall and as they stood on the border he waited silently. He didn’t care for Lux bossing him, but it was a necessity for now. He would wait and be a good boy and see if he could see Noel.

They never seem to catch my eye but I never wondered why
