Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Most of the little one's time was spent alone, or with her Mother, Andromeda. It wasn't that she wasn't social, it was simply that her mind was elsewhere. She did not find herself above or better than others; Ambrosia was simply interested in other things than they were. Everyone spoke of who's the best assassin, who's the best hunter, the best warrior, the best this, the best that- and the pale little girl wanted nothing to do with it. She simply wanted to enjoy the forest and the quiet, the peace that life seemed to bring her and those around her. She did not speak much, but she had a way with others that seemed to calm their soul. Perhaps it was indeed because her own was broken, never destined to find her other half. But yet the young male known as Maddox had come to ask for her aid, she could not refuse. He was of the Queen's Guard- of the wolves who protected Aunt Isola with their life. He was obviously someone she would perhaps see often and come to know in her later years, being one of the many children considered as Isola's neices and nephews. They had a large family, and in this they had not only numbers from strength as well. They supported one another, helped one another- it was part of the reason Diveen flourished so avidly and other clans, or packs, did not.

Some of these thoughts are flitting through the alabaster girls head as she walks quietly beside Maddox. She had only ever been out of the packlands once- but none of the adults know that. It was near the place they were currently passing- a place of fields and wide open spaces. Ahead of them lays a deep expanse of forest, which immediately has Ambrosia's pristine white tail waving slightly. She adores the forest and is most comfortable within the confines of the thickets, and it is shown on her expression when she glances up again at Maddox. He has been speaking to her of hunting, for this was what they were doing; she was aiding him in completeing a task for a higher rank he desired. Though the idea of her own rank did not appeal to her, she was happy to help as she could, even for one so young and so small. A small and yet almost shy smile is caressing her small muzzle when her exotic lavender gaze marked with emerald and orange take in the brown male. He is about her Mother's age and he is incredibly handsome. He is dark coloured where she is light, and while it is not black she finds it beautiful all the same. She knows her sister and Father would disagree with her- calling him dirty and even perhaps unworthy. Ambrosia was no such wolf to think such thoughts.

For the most part, when he had been speaking to her, it was simply to give her information. To teach her, and while she knew quite well to ask questions when needed, for the time being she held her tongue. Until he asked her what she thought at the very end. Not only did Ambrosia not talk much- but she simply wasn't spoken to by others. When one didn't talk or make themselves known or the center of the attention, they were often forgotten in the background and overlooked. Such is what almost always happens, especially in such a large family, but it was not something to complain about. Silence is peace and peace is silence. But that's not to say that language came fluent and easy to her, for it did with her tones soft and sweet as her namesake. 'I think.. it is best to seek those who will now sleep.' While she speaks well, she also happens to have a certain way with wording her sentences. It's a simple habit developed from spending so much time with Andromeda who has her oqn unique way of speaking; one of the many things adored by little Ambrosia.

She is content and satisfied with her answer, her small muzzle pulling into another of her heart-melting grins. But, as always, she is curious and wants to know more- and is ever the considerate little girl. 'What do you like, Maddox?' His name is different to her, different than her brothers and sisters and she likes it. She also likes to use it when and if she can- it rolls off her tongue smoothly and she likes the affect the 'x' has when she makes it. Such is the way of her young mind, so ready to absorb and learn all that she could that surrounded her. They are slowing their pace now, drawing ever closer to the treeline of the forest. With each step excitement grows- not only for the hunt they were on together, but for the forest itself; her most favourite place in the world, other than beside Andromeda, of course.
