aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

The ashen mistress sauntered daintily into Aurora Borealis with a skip in her step; in her dream like state she took no consideration as she moved, simply trailing to places she assumed would be best.

She had managed to shake off the incident that had occurred earlier in the week; her playful flirts with the tall Kalak had quickly changed. It angered her most greatly to even think of it. Leila had thought of Harries as handsome, his baritones had caused a deep flutter in her chest. But when he assumed her as such low scum, or that she was desperate or pathetic, her opinion had immediately changed. The dame had made no suggestions to him, and the fact he had perceived her flirts as such was questionable to his intelligence. But she managed to calm her anger by reminding herself that her dignity was rescued, that she had remained untainted and unharmed. And so she was able to go about her days as usual.

Leila settled by the open stretch of the lake and lowered her dark haunches to the snow covered ground. Its water had been unaffected by any ice though she could see several pieces floating unintelligibly in the chilled liquid. Her fiery gazers fell upon the snow with a fondness, her gaze almost resembling the expression of something that would fall upon a long lost friend. It glimmered like tiny diamonds as the slight glow of the morning sun fell across it. Though it very much appealed to her, she struggled in the cold nights. It was then that Leila envied the pairs who were able to block the arctic air. But she was frightened of the prospect of being tied down. They would break her. And so it did not appeal to the dame though the bonuses that accompanied that went along with it were enticing.

She hadn’t seen her friends in a long time. Leila longed for her days spent in the busy company, where it seemed impossible to be bored. Kalgalath was still recovering from his fight as well as sheltering the young pup. Hellene was occupied caring for Destan and Khaleesi. And so, there was no time for the dame anymore and she was forced to create her own entertainment which only possessing a small imagination, was exceedingly difficult. But today she had left the shelter of her den to hopefully meet some new wolves or even
