Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

“You’re probably right.”

Jago admitted with great sarcasm, his eyes narrowing at the tone of her voice. She was feisty and he was starting to enjoy it very much. Never in his life had he met a female with such distaste for him. If anything, the opposite sex tended to swoon at his voice and heart-warming charm when he could muster it. With her, however…she was different. Her face was scarred and her heart seemed almost cold. It was all an assumption from the way she seemed to hold herself, so Jago could never be sure. He did know that everyone had secrets and if anything that he was certain of, she had them as well. The brute was confused by her and intrigued by her, but there was something else that kept him respectful of her distance. With her icy voice a clear warning, Jago did not step further.

It was then that she did something brash. The midnight girl stained in grey lifted her backend into the air and taunted him with it. His eyes followed her every move, every swish and swoop of her tail. A quick, almost silent whine escaped from Jago’s lips before he could stop it. Male weakness was something that Jago could not stand. It was embarrassing for his body to give in so quickly. His mind was screaming no, and it took everything in him to keep from pulling her into Taviora and keeping her as his. But he was not a barbarian. Even though she was very…very enticing, he kept his cool as her hindquarters hit the ground.
“It’s average.” He half choked, lying right through his teeth.

His body was mere inches from the ledge now, threatening to jump and being quite irrational before her voice hit his ears. A slight chuckle escaped from the boy, his voice silent while his eyes travelled from her to the ground below. It was a longer fall than he had anticipated and survival was slim to none if he actually jumped. Briefly, he did consider jumping. Jago didn’t have much to lose. He didn’t have friends besides whatever he and Coszcotl had and that was it. Living was more of a chore as he didn’t know his place. It would be a quick death, however he had better things to attend to now. His eyes swept back to the girl before taking one more half-step toward the ledge.

“Nothing happens. I just know your name and we part ways as unlikely friends, yes?” He grumbled softly. “Don’t flatter yourself sweetie, I don’t need a hero.” Jago arched his back now and pushed his body down in a leaping position and looked back at the girl one last time. It was a joke, of course, but the look in his eye was dead serious. It was then that he flinched his body, appearing to take the leap in hopes of the girl's reflexes acting before her brain.
