Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Orion felt relaxed in the brown and golden wolf's presence, which was a fairly positive thing, considering that not all wolves were as friendly to strangers as Taliesin was being. He usually got along with most others that he met, though he couldn't control how they reacted to him. He knew that some were unfriendly, and even hostile, to strangers which was something that he could understand. Even though he was fairly trusting, he wasn't stupid, and usually trusted his gut. It had saved him quite a few times when he trusted his instincts, but he felt as though he could trust Taliesin.

He waved his tail as Taliesin spoke again. The other didn't comment further on his name, but there was no real reason to. Orion was happy with the direction that the conversation was going. His head tilted slightly as the other spoke. Birdsong? It was an interesting thing for a wolf to be interested in, for sure. "Birds?" he asked, not in a patronising tone, simply a curious one. "That's very interesting. I can see why, their songs are rather calming." It seemed as though Taliesin had taken something from the birds as well, as his song-like voice fit that interest of his quite well. Orion wondered if it had always been like that or if it had developed after listening to the bird's songs.

Taliesin continued, giving him the name of the lands. Moladion. He committed the name to his memory, glancing around at the forest briefly before returning his yellow gaze to his acquaintance. "I see," he said in his rough tones. "Sometimes I wonder what it would have been like for me should I have remained in my homelands. But it never lasts long." He paused for a few seconds, apparently lost in thought a bit before he snapped back to the present. "As you said, travelling and seeing the world for me, is like the bird song for you." Though Orion said this with surety, there was a tinge of envy at the back of his mind. How nice it would be, to have a den to return to at night. Somewhere to call home.
