Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Spirit woke to the dark of a cave in a place known as the Susil Craigs; it was there she had escaped the noon summer heat. Now night was starting to cast its curtain of darkness upon the land and small prey has begun to forge during the cool hours of the night. She gets up stretching the sleep from her long, white tipped limbs. She then bounds out of the cave and without the slightest hesitation maneuvers herself through the rocky terrain with ease to the protected river. She then moved to lap up some of the cold refreshing water, as she drank it filled her body with unimaginable energy. She lifted her head from the reflective surface raising he nose to look for the scent that will lead her to her next meal.

This was her fourth year on her own and she was more than skilled at hunting, even in the harsh of winter when prey was normally scarce she found ways of getting enough food. She catches the scent of a rabbit, she follows the small creatures scent into flatter terrain and then she spots the brown lump of fur scratching about she lowers herself, her frost tipped ear pricked, and creeps forward. Prey also has instinct it feels her mismatched eyes watching and stands alert, but it hasn’t spotted her yet. She was still too far to make her move; she gets closer hoping her luck holds.

She’s after it as the rabbit darts into an opening, her powerful hind legs push her off the ground, she bites down crushing her prey and tucks her head and front paws as she rolls her prey still in her mouth. She gets back up, white tipped tail wagging at her victory, and that’s when she noticed she wasn’t alone. There was a young male there who didn’t smell of these lands. She dropped her kill, for it seemed she had just made quite and entrance on what was probably going be his sleeping spot. She wasn’t necessarily sure what she was supposed to do. Standing there awkwardly she thought, ‘do I introduce myself or should I just leave.‘ she looks down at her kill ‘it’s way bigger than I thought it was, how am I supposed to eat all of this and still be light enough to catch prey tomorrow night. It’ll spoil by morning and wasting food, shouldn’t even be considered.’

Then she gets an idea “hey, want to share” she ask the gray male “it’s too big for me to eat by myself.”

Then realizing she didn’t introduce herself she says, “By the way I’m Spirit” bowing her head greeting.

Yes a lot of wolves would call her soft hearted for even offering, but Spirit could care less what others thought about her it was who she was and wouldn’t change anytime soon. Though she has fought to defend those she cares about and herself, she never fights the unnecessarily battles. She lays down a fair distance away downwind if he joins her he’s welcome, or any other wolf for that matter, to it if not, well his lost.
