Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

She felt the tingle of fish on her claws and jumped the fish out of the water. “I’m Hachi” pierced her auds, the titan’s name echoing back into the forest. She nodded, the gentle break of a wind at her pelt. “It is very nice to meet you.” Thrusting her paw into the water, she pulled out another fish for herself. She could hear the brute eating, so she leaned forward and sniffed eagerly at the fish she had caught. It smelled of water and plants, a gentle gleam of flesh lingering in its aroma. Expanding her jaws, she took a small nibble of the food, picking the flesh part with no bones. “So, Mink. How do you catch fish?” The dam heard the question as she took another bite, chewing through the hard scales of the fish before swallowing and thinking about her answer. Perhaps he was wondering why since, of course, she was blind. “They are awfully slow, if you truly think about it. I think of it as the same as if you could see. I imagine that you wait until you see the fish and wait for it to touch you so you don’t end up catching water. It is just the same, only you wait for a feeling of scales, or feel the water move around you. There is an animal there; I just cannot see it” She hoped very well it was a good clarification about what she was doing.

Mink only hunted fish anyway. Birds would not do anything for her, as well as squirrels and rabbits and chipmunks. Had she even tasted deer or elk before? No, probably not. The taste of a fish was bittersweet, the feeling of watery flesh not always appealing. Perhaps she should find a way to hunt other animals as well. Taking another bite of her fish, she started to taste the air, the aroma of the wolf coming into her nares. He had one of those scents where it seemed that a bunch of wolves were crammed into one pelt, almost like they held multiple personalities. But of course, that was irrational, so Mink dismissed the thought. Perhaps the brute was a pack wolf? “Are you a pack wolf, Hachi?” Mink, in fact, was in the process of gaining a pack. Andere Seite had been her choice, knowing that it was a calm place to be and maybe needed some activity. It had a soft name, just what the girl wanted. Cade had not given her an answer yet, but that was alright. Maybe she was doing something more important in the pack lands. Mink didn’t really know, but she did not also really care. The only thing she was looking forward to was becoming a healer, but she doubted Andere had any person there she could train with. Perhaps, if she got accepted, Cade would let her train with another healer wolf for awhile and let her assume that position.

The cold sent a shiver up the dam’s white pelt. She nodded to Hachi as he finished his answer. Mink was getting antsy, and she wanted to get out and do something. They were at Rainbow Cliff, right? “Hachi, would you like to go up to the top of the cliff with me? I would go by myself, but since I can’t see...yeah. I sound like a damsel, but would you make sure that I don’t trip and fall to my death or something? It is a lovely day.” And by lovely she meant warm, not that she saw that the sky was gray or if the clouds were making things unbearably visible, not that they were. She sat waiting, completely understanding if he didn’t want to lead a blind wolf up a steep slope.
